Old Rivalries is a level 51 Federation mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you defend your station from Nurx’s allies. It is picked up in Agataylor and needs warp 230 to start and finish, but every fight happens at your own station. You defeat two Nausicaan attackers and then Aryx, and pay 243M Tritanium to repair the breaches. The reward is 2,000 Ship XP and 178,200,000 Tritanium, plus Federation faction rewards.
Old Rivalries objectives
There are five objectives and no choice split:
- Return to your Station.
- Defeat the Nausicaan attacker. Enemy strength around 15,761,293.
- Defeat the next Nausicaan attacker. Enemy strength around 15,221,854.
- Defeat Aryx. Enemy strength around 17,647,953.
- Use 243M Tritanium to repair the breaches to the Station.
No system is named after the pickup; the fights come to your station. There are three in a row, with Aryx the strongest at the end, then the repair bill. The story line names the attackers as Nurx’s allies, and Aryx is the last and strongest of them.
Where and what warp
The pickup system is Agataylor, and warp 230 is listed to start and to complete. Once accepted, the mission sends you home. The recommended level is 51.
Three fights between about 15.2 and 17.6 million strength, plus the 243M Tritanium repair, are what you need to be ready for.

The Tritanium reward is less than the 243M repair cost, so the mission is a net loss of about 65 million Tritanium. The Klingon Points loss is explained on the faction reputation page.
Federation missions at levels 50 to 53
These four level 50 to 53 missions pay Federation Credits and Federation Points and take away Klingon Points, the reverse of the KSG missions in the same range.

Old Rivalries is the only one of the four that costs more Tritanium than it pays, and the only one fought at your own station.
Tips
Fight close to home. The attackers come to your station, so there is no long trip between fights, and the defense platforms page covers your station’s own defenses.
Stock up on Tritanium first. You need 243M for the repair step, and the mission cannot finish without it.
