Haven is a three-part mission chain about the Iconian Gateway: you investigate it, build the Iconian Hub and a Holotheater at your Station, then hold off Romulan ships that want access to the Gateway. All three parts are recommended for level 61, and every step happens at your Station, in Haven or around your home system, so the chain never takes you past warp 1. The only reward is Resonance Charge, 200,000 in total across the three parts. It is a short, home-based chain with three Romulan fights and one Gateway upgrade standing between you and the payout.
Haven at a glance
| Part | Recommended level | Warp to complete | Key reward |
|---|---|---|---|
| Haven Part 1 | 61 | 1 | 40,000 Resonance Charge |
| Haven Part 2 | 61 | 1 | 60,000 Resonance Charge |
| Haven Part 3 | 61 | 1 | 100,000 Resonance Charge |
Every part starts and finishes at warp 1, and completing one part opens the next.
Haven Part 1
The chain opens with an order to investigate the Gateway. This part has no combat at all: you build at your Station, gather shards in Haven and put the Holotheater together.
- Build the Iconian Hub at the Station.
- Collect 10 Holotheater shards in the Haven.
- Build and deploy the Holotheater.
Warp to complete: 1. Rewards: 40,000 Resonance Charge.
Haven Part 2
With the Hub running, you now have to protect the Iconian Gateway. A Romulan ship shows up first, then a scout, and you finish by checking on the Gateway from your Station.
- Confront the Romulan ship (enemy strength ~2,113,383,600).
- Patrol the perimeter of your home system.
- Defeat the Romulan scout (enemy strength ~2,222,048,490).
- Check on the Iconian Gateway from your Station.
Warp to complete: 1. Rewards: 60,000 Resonance Charge.
Haven Part 3
The last part asks you to shut down any attempt to access your Iconian Gateway. Before the fighting starts you need the Gateway in Haven at Level 2, so this is the one part that can stall on a build requirement.
- Upgrade the Iconian Gateway in Haven to Level 2.
- Confront the Romulan Battleship.
- Defeat the Romulans (enemy strength ~2,618,077,029).
Warp to complete: 1. Rewards: 100,000 Resonance Charge.
Tips for completing Haven
Travel is a non-issue here. All three parts sit at warp 1, so any ship that can leave your Station can reach every objective, and you can pick the chain up between other tasks without planning a route.
The real gates are the fights and the Gateway upgrade. Part 2 has two Romulan fights listed at roughly 2.1 billion and 2.2 billion strength, and the Part 3 fight against the Romulans is the toughest in the chain at about 2.6 billion. Send your strongest combat ship, and repair between the two Part 2 fights rather than going into the scout damaged.
Part 3 cannot move forward until the Iconian Gateway in Haven reaches Level 2. If you can, start that upgrade while you are still working through Part 2, so the final fight is not held up by a build timer.
Haven sits alongside three other level 61 chains in the same storyline. One Way Street has you check on the Iconian Hub and chase Yonzi across the Klingon border, Haven’s Where the Heart Is follows Vash’s attempt to reach Haven, and Maehem, Minefields, and a Motherlode sends you after the missing U.S.S. Kelcie Mae on a lead from Toryn.
Are the Haven rewards worth it?
If you need Resonance Charge, yes. The chain pays 200,000 Resonance Charge, and the payout grows with each part, so Part 3 alone accounts for half of it. The cost is three fights in the 2.1 to 2.6 billion strength range plus one Gateway upgrade. Because nothing goes past warp 1, the time spent is mostly combat and building. For the rest of the level 61 missions and older chains, see the STFC mission guide.
