No Origin is a Klingon-aligned story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command about the Gorn’s original, lost homeworld. You take star map findings to the Gorn Embassy in Beta Penthe, then decide whether to trust the data and investigate, or to have Scotty verify it first. Both paths end in a fight against an enemy of about 1.68 million strength. The mission can be accepted at warp 1 and needs warp 48 to complete, and the game lists a recommended level of 1. Both paths pay 500 Klingon Recruit Tokens and 100,000 Klingon Points.
No Origin objectives
The story line asks you to decode the data believed to contain the location of the Gorn’s original homeworld. Everyone starts the same way:
- Take the star map findings to the Gorn Embassy. Location: Beta Penthe.
- Trust the info about the Gorn homeworld?
The Gorn ask what you think, and you choose one of two answers.
If you investigate the system believed to contain the Gorn homeworld
- Go to Katovug. Location: Katovug.
- Defeat the Romulan Ambush. Location: Katovug. Enemy strength is roughly 1,678,325.
If you contact Scotty to verify the data further
- Return to the Station to contact Scotty.
- Reach the Mempa system in time to warn the Gorn fleet. Location: Mempa.
- Exact revenge on the IRW Praeda Avis. Location: Mempa. Enemy strength is roughly 1,678,325.
Trusting the data leads straight into a Romulan ambush. Checking with Scotty adds a trip home first, then a race to Mempa and a fight against the IRW Praeda Avis. Both fights list the same enemy strength.
Where and what warp
No Origin can be accepted at warp 1, but Beta Penthe, Katovug and Mempa need warp 48 to finish it. The recommended level is listed as 1. The 1.68 million strength fight at the end of either path is what really decides whether you are ready.

Tips
Pick the path by what you need: speed ups for building, or Battleship Parts for ship upgrades. The fight is the same strength either way.
Mind the Romulan loss. At 128,000 points it is larger than the Klingon gain, so check the Klingon and Romulan standings you care about.
The mission before this one is Instinct. Montgomery Scott is also an officer in the game. Other missions are on the mission guide.
