Open Rebellion is a Federation mission in Star Trek Fleet Command. An urgent call for help comes from Federation space, and you answer it by meeting Admiral Briscoe on Starbase 74, fighting two ships in Hann, the Bortas and a Separatist ship, and bringing Captain Raak back to face justice. The mission can be picked up in Narendra, Qualor or Ajilon, needs warp 17 to start and warp 18 to complete, and the game lists a recommended level of 1. The reward is 150 Premium Recruit Tokens, 80,000 Tritanium and thirty 5 Minute Repair Speed Ups.
Open Rebellion objectives
Five objectives across two systems, with no choice split:
- Meet with Admiral Briscoe on Starbase 74. Location: Gemet.
- Respond to the distress call in Hann. Location: Hann.
- Disable the Bortas’s systems. Location: Hann. Enemy strength is roughly 73,260.
- Destroy the Separatist ship. Location: Hann. Enemy strength is roughly 104,274.
- Take Captain Raak to justice on Starbase 74. Location: Gemet.
The route runs through Gemet twice. You get your briefing from Admiral Briscoe at Starbase 74, fly to Hann to answer the distress call, and fight two ships there: first you disable the Bortas, then you destroy a Separatist ship of about 104,274 strength. With Captain Raak in custody, you return to Starbase 74 to finish.
Where and what warp
You can pick up Open Rebellion in Narendra, Qualor or Ajilon. The game lists warp 17 to start and warp 18 to complete, so the objective systems ask for one step more range than the pickups.
The recommended level is listed as 1. Two back-to-back fights at about 73,260 and 104,274 strength are the practical requirement.

Open Rebellion has the lightest fights of the three and is the only one paying recruit tokens.
Tips
Go into Hann with full hull. You fight the Bortas and then the Separatist ship without a break, and the second fight is the harder one.
Use the repair speed ups after the Hann fights. Thirty 5 minute speed ups add up to two and a half hours of repair time.
Pick up the mission from the nearest of the three pickup systems. Narendra, Qualor and Ajilon all start the same mission with the same objectives, so there is no reason to fly further than you must. Ajilon is also where Invasion and We’re In This Together send you to fight, so you may already know the way.
Spend the Premium Recruit Tokens on recruitment, and put the 80,000 Tritanium toward your next upgrade.
