Immortal Contact

Immortal Contact is a level 49 mission in Star Trek Fleet Command with one job: make contact with the Immortals. It is picked up in Adrisilver and needs warp 185 to start and to complete, and the single objective happens in Adrisilver as well. No rewards are listed for it. Its value is that finishing it unlocks Honest Work, the next step in a line of missions about the Immortals.

Immortal Contact objectives

There is one objective and no choice split:

  • Make contact with the Immortals. Location: Adrisilver.

The objective repeats the mission’s story prompt word for word. There is no fight, donation or hostile count attached, so the mission comes down to reaching Adrisilver and completing the contact step there.

Where and what warp

The pickup system and the objective are both Adrisilver. Warp to start and warp to complete are both 185, so the only requirement is a ship with that range. The recommended level is 49.

Immortal Contact rewards

The mission lists no rewards of its own. Completing it unlocks Honest Work, a level 51 mission whose story prompt is to prove yourself to Danclus, with a warp of 1 to complete.

Missions in the same line

Immortal Contact sits at the head of a mission line that also includes Take Arms against an Empire of Troubles III, a later mission about evacuating Immortal colonies before they can be bombarded. The table compares what is known about the missions around it:

Mission Recommended level Warp to complete Story prompt
Immortal Contact 49 185 Make contact with the Immortals
Honest Work 51 1 Prove yourself to Danclus
Take Arms against an Empire of Troubles III 55 320 Evacuate Immortal colonies before they can be bombarded

Take Arms against an Empire of Troubles III moves through Magnus, Hajamieli, Horgi and Hauge and ends with a choice about recovering supplies. Both of its paths pay 800 Romulan Credits and 2,500,000 Romulan Points and cost 3,300,000 Federation Points. One path adds a Romulan Centurion fight for 3 billion Parsteel and 85.05 million Tritanium; the other skips it for 35,000 Officer XP and 400 3 Hour Speed Ups.

Tips

Treat this as a gate, not a payout. With no listed rewards, the reason to run Immortal Contact is to open Honest Work and keep the Immortals storyline moving.

Range is the only thing to prepare. Warp 185 gets you to Adrisilver and covers the whole mission, and Honest Work that follows needs only warp 1. The later Take Arms mission climbs to warp 320, so a ship that just scrapes warp 185 will need an upgrade before then.

The missions in this line lean Romulan. Take Arms against an Empire of Troubles III pays Romulan reputation and costs Federation standing on both paths, which is worth knowing before you commit if you are building Federation reputation. The faction reputation page covers how faction standing works, and every mission by level is on the STFC mission guide.
