Raucous Racket

Raucous Racket is a late-game mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which you investigate a dilithium smuggling operation. It is picked up in Laynso, has a recommended level of 45, and needs warp 100 to start and warp 130 to complete. After meeting the smuggler in X5-TKV, you either run the shipment and fight a Starfleet patrol, or grind hostiles and take down Sandor. Both paths pay the same: 11,470,000 Dilithium and 310 3 Hour Speed Ups.

Raucous Racket objectives

Everyone starts with the same two steps:

  • Meet with the smuggler. Location: X5-TKV.
  • Decide what to do.

The second step is a choice split with two paths.

Path 1: make the delivery

  • Bring the shipment to the buyer. Location: Kayla.
  • Return with the payment. Location: X5-TKV.
  • Defeat the Starfleet patrol. Location: X5-TKV. Enemy strength is roughly 6,542,068.

Path 2: shut it down

  • Defeat 12 hostiles of level 44 or higher.
  • Defeat Sandor. Location: X5-TKV. Enemy strength is roughly 6,389,135.

Both paths pay 310 3 Hour Speed Ups and 11,470,000 Dilithium.

Where and what warp

The mission is picked up in Laynso. It needs warp 100 to start and warp 130 to complete. X5-TKV is where the smuggler waits and where both final fights happen, and Path 1 adds a delivery to Kayla.

The recommended level is 45. Both paths end with a fight above 6.3 million strength, and warp 130 is the other real requirement.

Raucous Racket rewards

Reward Amount (either path)
Dilithium 11,470,000
3 Hour Speed Up 310

The game data lists no follow-up mission unlocked by Raucous Racket.

Which path to choose

Since the rewards match, pick the path that suits your fleet. Path 1 is travel-heavy, with a round trip to Kayla, and ends with a Starfleet patrol at roughly 6,542,068 strength. Path 2 stays near X5-TKV but adds twelve level 44 or higher hostiles before Sandor, who is slightly weaker at roughly 6,389,135.

If you already farm level 44 hostiles, Path 2 fits into normal play and has the easier final fight. If you would rather avoid the grind, Path 1 trades it for travel.

Tips

Bring your strongest combat ship for the final fight. Either way, the last objective is a battle above 6.3 million strength. On Path 1 the ship that carries the shipment to Kayla heads back to X5-TKV for the patrol fight, so choose one that can make the trip and win the battle.

Spend the speed ups on long timers. 310 3 Hour Speed Ups add up to 930 hours, which is a large chunk of time for late-game building upgrades or research.

The 11,470,000 Dilithium is useful too, but the speed ups are the standout reward. Other missions sorted by level are on the mission guide.
