Preparations is a Star Trek Fleet Command mission in the Corvallen rebel storyline where you acquire a shield for the rebels. You buy it in Sileo for 1.5 million Dilithium, fight off a Corvallen Loyalist Ship, then flee to Pneuma and choose whether to fight back or escape. The game lists a recommended level of 1, but the mission needs warp 70 to finish and has fights at roughly 1.95 to 1.97 million strength. The two endings pay very different rewards.
Preparations objectives
Both paths share the opening steps:
- Meet with the trader. Location: Sileo.
- Donate 1.5M Dilithium in exchange for the shield.
- Defeat the Corvallen Loyalist Ship. Location: Sileo. Enemy strength is roughly 1,950,820.
- Get away from the Corvallen Loyalist Ships. Location: Pneuma.
- Choose: fight back or escape?
Path 1: fight back
- Defeat the Corvallen Loyalist Battleship. Location: Pneuma. Enemy strength is roughly 1,969,977.
- Bring the shield to the Corvallen Rebels. Location: Livi.
Rewards for this path: 120 4★ Uncommon Refined Crystal and 80 1M Parsteel Tokens.
Path 2: leave the shield
- Return to your Station.
Rewards for this path: 800 Ultra Recruit Tokens and 30 100K Dilithium Tokens.
Fighting back means a second big fight and a delivery to the rebels in Livi. Leaving the shield means dumping it and warping home. Either way the mission completes and the chain continues.
Where and what warp
There is no pickup system, and the mission becomes available at warp 1. Completing it needs warp 70. The route runs Sileo, Pneuma, and then either Livi or home.
The recommended level shows as 1. The warp 70 range, 1.5 million Dilithium and at least one fight near 1.95 million strength are the real requirements.

Completing the mission unlocks the next mission in the chain on either path.
Which path to choose
Fight back if you want resources. Eighty 1M Parsteel Tokens are 80 million Parsteel, and 120 4★ Uncommon Refined Crystal is a good batch of refined material.
Leave the shield if you want recruits or would rather skip the second fight. The 30 100K Dilithium Tokens return 3 million Dilithium, twice the 1.5 million you donated, and the 800 Ultra Recruit Tokens go toward officers.
Tips
Have the Dilithium ready at Sileo. The donation comes before the first fight, so a short balance stops you before any combat starts.
Repair after the first fight if you plan to fight back. The Battleship in Pneuma is slightly stronger than the ship you just beat in Sileo.
