Putting on a Show is a level 50 mission in Star Trek Fleet Command, picked up in Adrisilver. A musician wants to remind the Immortals about the importance of culture, and you organise the concert: find a venue, hire an orchestra, bring in a famous Klingon conductor and host the show. It needs warp 185 to pick up and warp 205 to complete, costs 11 million Dilithium along the way, and pays 1,100,000 Romulan Points plus a Romulan Immortal Datapad, at a steep Federation cost.
Putting on a Show objectives
There are six objectives across four systems, and no choice split:
- Find the perfect venue. Location: van Vlerken.
- Hire an orchestra. Location: Belmont.
- Pay 11M Dilithium for the orchestra’s services.
- Meet with the famous Klingon conductor. Location: Callicoat.
- Disable the conductor’s vessel. Location: Callicoat.
- Host the concert. Location: Adrisilver.
The mission moves in a loop. You scout the venue in van Vlerken, hire the orchestra in Belmont and pay them 11 million Dilithium, then go to Callicoat for the conductor. Meeting the conductor turns into a fight: the next objective is to disable the conductor’s vessel. With the conductor secured, you return to Adrisilver, where the mission started, to host the concert.
The mission data does not give a strength figure for the conductor’s vessel. The Dilithium payment is 11M.
Where and what warp
Putting on a Show is picked up in Adrisilver. It needs warp 185 to start and warp 205 to complete, so you need 20 more warp than it takes to accept the mission. The route runs through van Vlerken, Belmont and Callicoat before returning to Adrisilver. The recommended level is 50.
Putting on a Show rewards
| Reward | Amount |
|---|---|
| 5★ Common Battleship Parts | 1 |
| Romulan Immortal Datapad | 1 |
| Romulan Credits | 800 |
| Romulan Points | 1,100,000 |
| Federation Points | -1,980,000 |
The Federation Points line is negative. Finishing the mission costs you 1,980,000 Federation Points while adding 1,100,000 Romulan Points, so the loss is almost twice the gain. The current game data shows no follow-up mission unlocked by Putting on a Show.
Tips
Have 11 million Dilithium ready before you reach Belmont. The payment comes right after hiring the orchestra, and the mission cannot move on to the conductor without it.
Check your range against warp 205, not 185. You can accept the mission at 185, but you need 205 to finish, so a ship that only just reaches Adrisilver will stall partway.
Bring a combat ship for Callicoat. Disabling the conductor’s vessel is the one fight, and with no strength figure in the data, go in with a ship you trust at this level.
Weigh the faction cost. Losing nearly 2 million Federation Points is a large hit. The mission makes most sense for a player committed to the Romulans, who gets 1.1 million Romulan Points and 800 Romulan Credits. For every other mission by level, see the mission guide.
