Counterplot is a level 76 mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which you help the Ferengi with another scheme, or turn on them. It is picked up in Sebireia and needs warp 4,000 to start and to complete, moving on to Quadoria and, on one path, Nabireia. You defeat a security ship first, then choose between helping Tozax by disabling a colony ship or defending the colony from him. Both choices pay 268,000 Σ-Tritanium, 296,000 7★ Broken Survey Parts and 3 1 Day Assignment Speed Ups. Every path has two fights, both around 55 trillion strength.
Counterplot objectives
Four objectives come before the choice:
- Follow Tozax. Location: Sebireia.
- Distract the security guard. Location: Sebireia.
- Defeat the security ship. Location: Sebireia (enemy strength about 55.7 trillion).
- Proceed to Quadoria. Location: Quadoria.
In Quadoria, Tozax’s plan turns out to involve attacking a colony, and you decide which side you are on.
Help the Ferengi
Tozax suggests you deal with the colony’s ship while the Ferengi do the dirty work.
- Disable the colony ship. Location: Quadoria (enemy strength about 54.4 trillion).
- Proceed to Nabireia. Location: Nabireia.
Defend the colony from the Ferengi
You refuse to take part, and Tozax heads for the colony, so you have to stop him.
- Defend the colony. Location: Quadoria (enemy strength about 54.4 trillion).
- Speak with the colonists. Location: Quadoria.
Helping the Ferengi ends in Nabireia; defending the colony keeps you in Quadoria to the end.
Where and what warp
The pickup system is Sebireia. Warp to start and warp to complete are both 4,000, and the recommended level is 76.
The route is Sebireia to Quadoria, with a final hop to Nabireia only if you side with Tozax.

Counterplot has the most named fights of these and pays the least raw material, but it costs nothing and returns Σ-Tritanium.
Tips
Pick your side on story alone. The two paths differ by one step and a system, and the rewards do not change.
Both fights are around 55 trillion strength, typical for level 76. A ship that beats the security ship in Sebireia will handle the second fight too, so there is no need to go home between them.
