IDIQ 11: Infinite Death is the middle mission of the Infinite Death story in the IDIQ series, and the game lists it as Part 2. Still trapped in the mirror universe with Q Junior, you get a tip from Cadet Uhura about a weapon Cadet Kirk has built, then turn it on Spock’s fleet. The recommended level is 61, the mission starts at warp 1 and needs warp 50 to complete, and almost all of it happens at Mirror Bajor. Rewards include 69,000 6★ Raw Gas and 180 8 Hour Speed Ups, for one fight and a 3.6B Tritanium payment.
IDIQ 11: Infinite Death Part 2
The story line asks you to discover Kirk’s secret weapon. Q Junior knows that the mirror Uhura despises Kirk and has already arranged a meeting at Bajor XIV, where she explains that Kirk’s array focuses energy from the Bajoran wormhole and is aimed at Bajor’s Eastern Province.
- Meet with Uhura, in Mirror Bajor.
- Seize Kirk’s weapons array, in Mirror Bajor (enemy strength ~2,222,048,490).
- Map a course to Spock’s fleet, in Mirror Bajor.
- Use 3.6B Tritanium to protect your ship.
- Activate the weapon, in Mirror Bajor.
- Go home, in Bajor.
Kirk left only a light guard on the array, and the fight to seize it, listed at about 2.2 billion strength, is the only combat in the mission. Q Junior then admits the anomaly has taken away his powers, so your officer reprograms the array to track your engine emissions and you lead it toward Spock’s armada. Your own shields will not survive the blast, which is why you jettison 3.6B Tritanium as a makeshift shield. When the wormhole opens, the array knocks out Spock’s shields, you beam him to the brig, and the blast also settles the anomaly and closes the portal. Q Junior’s powers come back and he takes you home. There is no choice split. Warp to complete: 50.
Rewards: 2,000 Commander XP, 180 8 Hour Speed Up, 1 4 Hr Peace Shield, 69,000 6★ Raw Gas.
Finishing this mission unlocks IDIQ 12: Infinite Death, the reunion with Q that closes the story.
The Infinite Death missions compared
All three Infinite Death missions are recommended for level 61. IDIQ 10 and IDIQ 11 need warp 50, and IDIQ 12 needs warp 40 but has the hardest fight.
| Mission | Warp to complete | Main tasks | Rewards |
|---|---|---|---|
| IDIQ 10: Infinite Death | 50 | Travel between Mirror Sol and Mirror Bajor, 5 hostiles (level 35+) | 1 2 Hr Peace Shield, 450,000,000 Dilithium, 200 3 Hour Speed Up, 30,000 6★ Raw Ore |
| IDIQ 11: Infinite Death | 50 | One fight (~2.22 billion strength), 3.6B Tritanium payment | 2,000 Commander XP, 180 8 Hour Speed Up, 1 4 Hr Peace Shield, 69,000 6★ Raw Gas |
| IDIQ 12: Infinite Death | 40 | Destroy the Tesseract (~3.53 billion strength) | 150 Premium Recruit Token, 60 8 Hour Speed Up, 1 8 Hr Peace Shield, 1 Paragon Recruit Token |
Tips for completing IDIQ 11: Infinite Death
Stockpile 3.6B Tritanium before you seize the array. The payment comes in the middle of the sequence, between mapping the course and activating the weapon, and the mission stops there until you pay.
The array fight at about 2.2 billion strength is the only combat, so any combat ship that handled IDIQ 10 will do. Repair it anyway, because the Tesseract in IDIQ 12 is listed at about 3.5 billion strength and you will want the ship ready.
The trip is short for this level. Everything except the final step sits in Mirror Bajor, and the last objective simply returns you to Bajor in your own universe.
Are the IDIQ 11: Infinite Death rewards worth it?
Mostly for the speed ups. 180 8 Hour Speed Ups add up to a lot of build or research time, and 69,000 6★ Raw Gas helps with late-game refining. The 3.6B Tritanium cost is the price, and you need this mission to reach IDIQ 12 and its Premium and Paragon Recruit Tokens. For the rest of the level 61 content, see the STFC mission guide.
