An Enemy Once More

An Enemy Once More is a Klingon-aligned story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which you track down and raid a Starfleet science vessel in LSP-539. You beat its guard at roughly 2,726,322 strength, then decide the vessel’s fate before returning to Kronos. The game lists a recommended level of 1, but it needs warp 135 to finish. Your choice decides between 4,050,000 Dilithium and 2,000 Latinum, and both paths give large Klingon reputation gains and Romulan and Federation losses.

An Enemy Once More objectives

The first three steps are the same for everyone:

  • Find the Starfleet science vessel. Location: LSP-539.
  • Defeat the Starfleet Guard. Location: LSP-539. Enemy strength is roughly 2,726,322.
  • Decide what to do with the Science Vessel.

LSP-539 is a level 47 neutral system that holds a minor temple to Kahless, which is why the Klingons suspect the science vessel’s visit. The guard recognises you from an earlier attack and tries to arrest you, which is where the fight comes from.

Show no mercy

  • Return to Kronos. Location: Kronos.

Rewards for this path: 4,050,000 Dilithium, 600 Klingon Credits, 311,000 Klingon Points, minus 427,936 Romulan Points and 160,476 Federation Points.

Let the crew go

  • Return to Kronos. Location: Kronos.

Rewards for this path: 2,000 Latinum, 600 Klingon Credits, 311,000 Klingon Points, minus 427,936 Romulan Points and 160,476 Federation Points.

Where and what warp

The mission can be picked up at warp 1, but completing it needs warp 135. It ends at Kronos, a level 60 Klingon system.

The listed recommended level of 1 is not a useful guide. Warp 135 and a guard near 2.7 million strength are the real bar.

Where it sits in the storyline

The mission follows A Fool’s Errand, in which you meet the Klingon leadership in Dohrmas and scout either Federation or Romulan space. Current game data:

Mission Warp to complete Fights Main reward
A Fool’s Errand 120 Starfleet Guard (about 912,580) or Romulan Guard (about 2,726,322) 800 4★ Common Refined Gas or Ore
An Enemy Once More 135 Starfleet Guard, about 2,726,322 4,050,000 Dilithium or 2,000 Latinum
So It Begins 110 25 hostiles of level 43+, USS Moldova (about 4,339,888), USS Gungnir (about 912,580) 115,200,000 Parsteel, 900 4★ Common Explorer Parts

All three pay the same 600 Klingon Credits and 311,000 Klingon Points. An Enemy Once More has the longest warp of the three.

Tips

Pick the path by what you are short of. The reputation changes are identical, so it comes down to Dilithium or Latinum. Other missions sorted by level are on the mission guide.
