My Precious Little Sli’Vak is a level 62 Klingon mission in Star Trek Fleet Command, and one of the lighter stories at this level. A Klingon targ breeder sent his prized targ, Little Sli’vak, to a championship race, and the animal never arrived. You pick it up in Laquc and need warp 1,000 to start and to finish. Two fights in Buyq’eal decide the race, and the reward is 10 4 Hr Peace Shields and 3,600 Klingon Credits.
My Precious Little Sli’Vak objectives
There are six objectives and no choice split:
- Find the cargo ship. Location: Ternodak.
- Track the thief. Location: Buyq’eal.
- Disable Gek’s ship. Location: Buyq’eal (enemy strength about 2,618,077,029).
- Locate Little Sli’vak. Location: Buyq’eal.
- Wake Little Sli’vak up. Location: Buyq’eal (enemy strength about 2,643,533,500).
- Deliver the trophy to the owner. Location: Laquc.
The livestock carrier in Ternodak claims thieves took the targ, but the ship is undamaged, and the carrier admits he sold Little Sli’vak. The targ has since been entered in the Intergalactic Targ Championship under the name of Gek, a Nausicaan gambler. Disabling Gek’s ship gets you into the race tracking system. When Little Sli’vak stops for a nap mid-race, you cannot beam him out through the interference, so you start a fight in orbit loud enough to wake him. He goes on to win, and you bring the owner his targ and a trophy bat’leth.
Where and what warp
The pickup is Laquc, where the mission also ends. The search starts in Ternodak and the rest happens at the championship in Buyq’eal. Warp 1,000 is needed both to start and to complete. The game lists a recommended level of 62.

Other Laquc missions compared
Laquc is the pickup for several Klingon missions at warp 1,000, all paying 3,600 Klingon Credits and 114,000,000 Klingon Points:

If you want resources, the other Laquc missions pay more. This one is worth running for the Peace Shields.
Tips
Both fights happen in Buyq’eal and sit around 2.6 billion strength. They are separated only by the Locate Little Sli’vak step, so bring a ship that can win twice without a repair trip in the middle.
The 4 Hr Peace Shields are the practical reason to do this mission. Ten of them is a useful stock to keep for times when you need to protect your station for a few hours.
The mission moves you toward the Klingon side, and the Romulan loss of 226,176,000 points is about twice the Klingon gain. Check the faction reputation guide if you also care about Romulan standing. Other missions by level are on the mission guide.
