Giving Back is a level 78 Federation mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which the Forsaken are hiding something from the Commander. It is picked up in Dibathera and needs warp 5,000 to start and to complete, with the middle of the story in Omvictus. There is no named ship fight, just 10 hostiles of level 78 or higher to defeat. The reward is 3,044,000 7★ Raw Ore, 275,000 7★ Broken Battleship Parts and 1,100 Σ-Federation Credits. It is a steady Federation mission that leans on grinding rather than a boss fight.
Giving Back objectives
There are six objectives and no choice split:
- Follow Cillian. Location: Omvictus.
- Defeat 10 hostiles of level 78 or higher.
- Try to communicate with the monstrosities. Location: Omvictus.
- Return to Dibathera. Location: Dibathera.
- Meet with the Council. Location: Dibathera.
- Attend the celebration. Location: Dibathera.
Cillian leads you to Omvictus, where the hostile count and the attempt to talk to the monstrosities happen. The last three steps are back in Dibathera: the Council meeting and then a celebration.
Where and what warp
The pickup system is Dibathera, which is also where the mission ends. Warp to start and warp to complete are both 5,000, and the recommended level is 78.
The hostile count has no system attached, so you can clear them in Omvictus while you are there, or on the way.

No donation is needed. The 1,100 Σ-Federation Credits are on the low side for a Federation mission here: A Bajoran Perspective at level 77 pays 1,500, and Home Sweet Home at level 80 pays 3,100.

Giving Back is the only one of the three that is free and moves your standing. Among the level 78 single missions, it is also the only one that pays Federation Points.
Tips
A ship that farms level 78 hostiles comfortably is all you need. There is no single strong target, so you can take breaks between kills to repair.
Enough is Enough also picks up in Dibathera and sends you to Omvictus, so if you are not worried about mixing Federation and Romulan reputation, the two fit into one trip.
