A Lamb to Slaughter is a Romulan storyline mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you hold off a counter-attack alongside Rihala. A Lamb to Slaughter objectives
There are four objectives and no choice split:
- Get to Rihala’s hideout. Location: Imada.
- Help Rihala fight off the Tal Prai’ex’s attack. Location: Imada. Enemy strength is roughly 4,139,806.
- Defeat the Romulan Explorer. Location: Imada. Enemy strength is roughly 1,075,836.
- Return to your Station.
After reaching the hideout, you face the Tal Prai’ex’s attack first, the harder of the two fights by far. The Romulan Explorer follows at about a quarter of that strength. The mission ends when you return to your station.
Where and what warp
The mission is available from warp 1 and needs warp 105 to complete, the range needed to reach Imada, a neutral system.
The recommended level is listed as 1. The real bars are warp 105 and a ship that can beat an enemy of about 4.1 million strength.

A Lamb to Slaughter raises the warp by 35 and swaps a kill grind for two scripted fights. The Parsteel payout grows too, from 75.6 million to 110 million.
Tips
Repair before you reach Imada. The Tal Prai’ex fight comes right after you arrive, and the mission does not send you home until both fights are done.
Weigh the Federation loss. At nearly 395,000 Federation Points, this is a big step back for anyone working on Federation reputation, and Provocation took another 320,952 before it.
Put the Interceptor Parts toward an interceptor if you are upgrading one.
