Relocation is a level 8 mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you scout out a potential new home planet for your station to orbit. You visit Dignam, scout Doraboro, then return to your station. It becomes available at warp 1 and needs warp 5 to complete, and there are no fights. The reward is 4,000 Parsteel and one Relocation Token, and completing it unlocks the next part of the chain. The Relocation Token is what makes it worth doing.

Relocation objectives

There are three objectives and no choice split:

  • Visit a potential new home system. Location: Dignam.
  • Scout another potential system. Location: Doraboro.
  • Return to your station.

Each objective is a trip. You look at Dignam first, then Doraboro, and then head home. No hostile is listed and nothing has to be donated, so any ship that can reach both systems can finish it.

Where and what warp

The mission becomes available at warp 1 and needs warp 5 to complete. Dignam and Doraboro are the two systems you have to visit. No pickup system is listed.

The recommended level is 8.

Relocation rewards

Reward Amount

Completing the mission also unlocks the next part of the chain.

Route at a glance

Step Destination What happens
1 Dignam Visit a potential new home system
2 Doraboro Scout another potential system
3 Your station Return home to finish

Because the last step is a return to your station, the mission ends with your ship docked.

Other early missions at a similar level

Relocation is one of several low-level missions with short warp needs. Current game data for a few of them:

Mission Recommended level Warp to complete Fights Headline reward
The Isle of Noises 6 1 None 100 Officer XP, 15 Ship XP
The Fate of the Fallen 6 3 One, under 600 strength Parsteel and Recruit Tokens, or a Grace Chen shard
Relocation 8 5 None 4,000 Parsteel, 1 Relocation Token
Nothing Personal 8 5 One, about 956 1 Parsteel
Unwanted Gift 12 8 None 4,000 Parsteel, 1 Orion Manifest

Relocation and Nothing Personal share the same level and warp, so a ship that finishes one can finish the other.

Tips

Send any ship that has warp 5. With no combat, even your weakest hull can make the trips to Dignam and Doraboro and back.

Keep the Relocation Token in mind. The story is about finding a new home for your station, and the token is the one reward here that is not a plain resource. Hold on to it until you know where you want your station to be.

Game data places Relocation in the storyline that begins with Distress Call. Other missions sorted by level are on the mission guide.
