Khan’s Champion 1 – Cadet

Khan’s Champion 1 – Cadet is a single station-defence mission in Star Trek Fleet Command, recommended for level 30. One of Khan’s Champions is detected close to your station; you defeat it and log the battle report in your station’s archives. It needs only warp 1 to start and finish, and the reward is 500 Hijacked Insignia. This is the entry tier of the Khan’s Champion missions, but the champion is still much tougher than a typical level 30 enemy.

Khan’s Champion 1 – Cadet objectives

There are two objectives and no choice split:

  • Defeat Khan’s Champion. Enemy strength about 3.89 million.
  • Log the Battle Report in your Station’s archives.

Your crew calls a red alert when the champion is spotted near the station. Once it is beaten, they log the report so the station can study the enemy’s tactics and stay ready to defend itself.

Where and what warp

No pickup system and no location is listed. Warp is 1 to start and 1 to complete, so there is no travel beyond your own station’s space.

The game lists a recommended level of 30. The champion’s strength, about 3.89 million, is the number to plan around.

Khan’s Champion 1 – Cadet rewards

The only reward is 500 Hijacked Insignia.

All Khan’s Champion tiers

Cadet is the first of five tiers. Every tier has the same two objectives and pays only Hijacked Insignia:

Mission Recommended level Champion strength Hijacked Insignia
Khan’s Champion 1 – Cadet 30 about 3.89 million 500
Khan’s Champion 2 – Ensign 40 about 50.1 million 2,000
Khan’s Champion 3 – Captain 50 about 2.66 billion 3,000
Khan’s Champion 4 – Warlord 60 about 74.1 billion 4,000
Khan’s Champion 5 – Nightmare 70 about 4.1 trillion 6,000

Cadet is by far the easiest tier. The jump to Ensign multiplies the champion’s strength by roughly thirteen for four times the Insignia.

Tips

Use your strongest ship and crew. At 3.89 million strength, this champion is a step above most level 30 story fights, so do not send a half-repaired ship.

Log the report right away. The second objective has no cost and finishes the mission.

If you want more fights without travel, the Combat Training missions work the same way. Your station’s own defense platforms have their own page, and every mission by level is on the mission guide.
