Hotly Contested is a three-part Star Trek Fleet Command mission chain in which the Halfway House in Kheania needs funds, so you enter a tournament to win them. The contest runs from a target challenge in Ker’Anh through a mining and combat round in Quadoria to three arena duels in Cezeon. All three parts are recommended for level 76 and need warp 4,000 to complete, and the chain is picked up in Vaxiish. It pays 2,844,000 Latinum, 3,163,000 7★ Raw Ore, 2,063,000 7★ Raw Gas and 678,000 7★ broken ship parts, among other rewards. It is a combat-focused chain with no faction point swings.

Hotly Contested Part 1
The Halfway House needs some funds. You stop by the Halfway House in Kheania, sign up for the tournament in Nomicuz and pay the entrance fee, then take on the first challenge in Ker’Anh by hitting its targets.

Hotly Contested Part 2
The next round is about besting the other competitors. In Quadoria you mine Σ-Parsteel and then have to fight back before returning to the tournament base.

- Fight back! (Quadoria, enemy strength ~18,655,441,716).
- Return to the tournament base (Nomicuz).

Hotly Contested Part 3
The final round is a fight to win the competition. Three opponents wait in the battle arena in Cezeon, and once you beat them you return to the tournament base and head back to the Halfway House.

- Defeat your second opponent (Cezeon, enemy strength ~54,389,996,755,606).
- Defeat your final opponent (Cezeon, enemy strength ~55,730,940,597,308).
- Return to the tournament base (Nomicuz).
- Go to the Halfway House (Kheania).
Warp to complete: 4,000. Rewards: 2,063,000 7★ Raw Gas, 75,000 Σ-Dilithium, 180,000 7★ Broken Battleship Parts and 1 Gravimetric Data.
Tips for completing Hotly Contested
Part 3 is the real test: three arena fights in a row in Cezeon, each between about 54 and 56 trillion strength, with no break between them. Enter the arena with a fully repaired ship.
Part 2 needs a mining stop as well as a fight. You have to mine 10,000 Σ-Parsteel, so bring a ship that can mine, and the Fight back! objective is listed at only about 18.7 billion strength, the lightest fight in the chain.
Part 1 asks you to pay an entrance fee at the tournament, so arrive with some resources to spare. Every part needs warp 4,000, and Nomicuz is the hub you return to after each round. The Σ resources guide covers Σ-Parsteel if you want to know more about the mining target.

Yes. Part 1 alone pays 2,844,000 Latinum and 3,163,000 7★ Raw Ore, and the later parts add 2,063,000 7★ Raw Gas, 201,000 Σ-Tritanium, 75,000 Σ-Dilithium, 678,000 7★ broken ship parts across three types, 130 Σ-Repair Speed Ups and 3 Gravimetric Data.
