The Bajoran Faction

There are no Bajoran hostiles in Star Trek Fleet Command. When players talk about farming “Bajoran hostiles”, they mean the Jem’Hadar in Dominion space: the hostiles you kill to earn Bajoran reputation. No hostile in the game flies under the Bajoran flag. The Jem’Hadar Fighters, Cruisers and Battleships of the Dominion drop Antimatter Units, and Antimatter Units are what the Bajoran faction store takes in exchange for Bajoran Badges, credits and, in the end, reputation.

This page covers where those hostiles are at every level, how the Bajoran loop turns kills into reputation, what each Bajoran currency does, and how to unlock the faction in the first place.

Where are the Bajoran hostiles?

They are the three regular Jem’Hadar ships, which hold all 29 systems of Dominion space at the top left of the galaxy map:

Hostile Ship type Levels Bring Drops
Jem’Hadar Fighter Interceptor 35 to 60 Explorer Antimatter Units
Jem’Hadar Cruiser Explorer 35 to 60 Battleship Antimatter Units
Jem’Hadar Battleship Battleship 35 to 60 Interceptor Antimatter Units

All three share the same systems and levels, so every Dominion system lets you pick the target your ship counters. The game describes each one the same way: attack it to take the Antimatter Units on board. That drop is the whole reason the Jem’Hadar are the Bajoran grind.

Dominion space also holds the solo armadas of the Bajoran loop: the Jem’Hadar Flagship in 12 systems, plus the Jem’Hadar Vanguard Flagship in Lysis and the Jem’Hadar Dreadnought Flagship in Altero at level 60. They do not drop Antimatter Units. They drop the armada currencies covered further down.

Which Dominion system to farm at your level

Each Dominion system spawns Jem’Hadar across about seven levels around its own level. Pick the row that covers your ships, then the system your warp range reaches. Warp is shown in brackets.

Jem’Hadar levels Systems (warp) Solo armada here
35 to 41 Ammaga (35), Ekimuk (35), Rakan (35), Craelav (35), Mril (40) Ammaga, Ekimuk, Rakan
36 to 44 Izra (40), Alafoss (40), Karemma (45) Alafoss
40 to 49 Kurill (45), Sagra (50), Clohma (50), Callinon (75), Koteli (75), Parada (75) Kurill, Clohma
45 to 54 Tediden (70), Hyra (70), Tulonra (80), Evarin (80) Hyra, Evarin
49 to 57 Yerra (80), Meygonn (80), Had’met (80), Res Reddan (80) Yerra, Res Reddan
52 to 58 Aszunso (240), Hox (240), Idraan (240) None
54 to 60 Vefeeq (100), Dal Vor (100), Lysis (120), Altero (150) Vefeeq, Dal Vor, Lysis (Vanguard), Altero (Dreadnought)

Warp is the real gate. Everything up to the 40 to 49 band sits inside warp 50 except Callinon, Koteli and Parada, which need 75. The three level 55 systems, Aszunso, Hox and Idraan, need warp 240, more than any higher system, so warp, not level, decides when you can move up from the 49 to 57 band. The Dominion faction page has every system with its exact level.

How the Bajoran loop works

Bajoran reputation never drops from your kills directly. Every point goes through the faction store, and the store runs on what the Jem’Hadar drop:

  1. Destroy Jem’Hadar Fighters, Cruisers and Battleships in Dominion space for Antimatter Units.
  2. Spend the Antimatter Units on the daily Hostile Exchange in the Bajoran faction store. Store bundles like this one pay out Bajoran Badges and Bajoran Credits.
  3. Buy the daily Reputation Chest in the same store. That purchase is how your Bajoran reputation goes up.
  4. Take on the Jem’Hadar Flagship solo armadas for Dominion Solo Armada Credits and Dominion Solo Armada Edicts, then exchange those in the store for its armada loot chests, which pay Diplomacy Tokens among their other rewards.
  5. Spend Bajoran Credits and the other store currencies on Bajoran Favors, ship refits, officer pulls and the rest of the store.

Higher reputation unlocks more store tiers, and the Favors you buy make the next lap faster: several of them add loot to Jem’Hadar kills or raise the reputation each purchase gives. Because the Hostile Exchange and the Reputation Chest are both daily, the Bajoran grind rewards logging in every day more than long sessions.

Bajoran currencies

The faction uses seven currencies, and the store tells you which one each bundle takes:

Currency Where it comes from What you spend it on
Antimatter Units Jem’Hadar Fighters, Cruisers and Battleships Claiming bundles in the Bajoran store, including the daily Hostile Exchange
Bajoran Badge Exchanging bundles in the Bajoran store, and the Prophets’ Gift daily goal chest Resources in the Bajoran store, including reputation
Bajoran Credits Bajoran missions, events and store bundles Items in the Bajoran store, including Favors
Bajoran Reputation The daily Reputation Chest in the Bajoran store Your standing with the faction
Dominion Solo Armada Credit (Uncommon, Rare, Epic) Dominion solo armadas of the matching rarity Rewards in the Bajoran store
Dominion Solo Armada Edict Every Dominion solo armada A special loot chest in the Bajoran store
Diplomacy Token Exchanging solo armada bundles in the Bajoran store Special items in the Bajoran store

If you only have time for one part of the loop, make it the Antimatter Units. They feed the badges, and the badges feed the reputation that gates everything else in the store.

How Bajoran reputation works

Bajoran reputation only goes up. Nothing you do can lower it, so the faction has none of the reputation locks the Federation, Klingon and Romulan factions use, and grinding other factions never costs you Bajoran standing. Every point you buy is permanent.

The Bajoran ladder uses resistance cell names instead of military ranks. From the bottom it runs Guerrilla, Militia, Pagh-Strong, Higa Metar, Kohn-Ma, Ornathia, Resister and Prophet Chosen, and each step up opens more of the faction store.

Three Bajoran research projects speed it up. Pagh Ascension increases the Bajoran reputation you gain, Prophets’ Gift adds a daily goal chest with Syndicate XP and Bajoran Badges, and Hostile Efficiency increases the rewards from the daily Hostile Exchange. The faction reputation page covers how reputation works across every faction.

Bajoran Favors

Bajoran Favors are permanent bonuses you unlock from the Bajoran store once your reputation reaches the level each one needs, paid for with Bajoran Credits or tokens. In game they sit in the Bajoran branch of the research tree: 25 projects, none with a research timer or a resource cost, since you unlock them through the store instead.

For hostile hunting, these are the Favors that make the loop faster:

Favor Levels What it does
Dominion Domination 10 Increases base damage dealt against Dominion hostiles
Prophets’ Prize 5 Increases loot rewards from Dominion hostiles
Prophets’ Reward 5 Increases Uncommon, Rare and Epic Dominion Solo Armada Credits from Dominion solo armadas
Hostile Efficiency 1 Increases rewards from the daily Hostile Exchange chest
Pagh Ascension 5 Increases Bajoran reputation gains

The rest of the tree covers combat stats (Kira’s Fury, Bajor’s Rage, Shakaar’s Shield), building costs, refinery rewards and two daily chests. The Bajoran research guide lists all 25 with their levels.

What the Bajoran store sells

Beyond reputation and Favors, the Bajoran faction store carries missions and ship refits, Alliance Starbase materials, and pulls for Deep Space Nine officers. It is also where the armada loot chests live, and those chests are the source of the Diplomacy Tokens for the store’s special items.

The U.S.S. Defiant ties into the whole loop. Its ship ability increases the Bajoran Badges and Credits you collect from the Defiant Amplified Claim, raises the Edict rewards you earn while flying it, and its Bajoran research projects, Quantum Torpedoes and Magnetic Field Optimisation, make it stronger against Jem’Hadar solo armadas. If you plan to run the Dominion armadas regularly, the Defiant is the ship designed for them.

How to unlock the Bajoran faction

Reach Operations level 35, then complete either One Man’s Villain Part 5 or the Doctor, Tailor, Soldier, Spy chain through Part 5, which runs through the Holodeck. Finishing either one opens the Bajoran store.

What about the Bajor system?

Bajor itself is a level 20 neutral system at warp 25. The hostiles there are Cardassian Military ships at levels 19 to 23, and they drop Dilithium, not anything Bajoran. Killing them does nothing for your Bajoran reputation.

For the faction behind the Jem’Hadar, see the Dominion. The factions page lists every faction with a store, and the hostile guide covers every other hostile faction.
