The Transogen Faction

Transogen has the strangest shape of any faction in the game: only 35 hostile records, but 52 systems. That is one of the widest territorial footprints in Star Trek Fleet Command attached to one of the smallest fleets.

Across the game data the Transogen field 35 hostile records in 3 named target types, running from level 30 to level 70 across 52 systems.

Transogen targets

Target Levels Warp Ship power Main drops
Suliban Stealth Cruiser ⇂ 30 to 70 26 to 1700 4.8M to 281B Transogen Manipulator
Suliban Transport ⇂ 32 to 68 26 to 1500 2.8M to 119B 3⇵ Transogen Canister, 4⇵ Transogen Canister, 5⇵ Transogen Canister
Suliban Runner ⇂ 46 to 70 110 to 1700 115M to 637B 6⇵ Transogen Containment, 4⇵ Transogen Containment, 5⇵ Transogen Containment

Ship power is the range across every level that target appears at, so the low figure is the entry version and the high figure is the endgame one.

Because the targets are thin on the ground across a lot of space, Transogen systems are usually somewhere you pass through rather than somewhere you farm.

What Transogen targets drop

Across the whole faction the recurring drops are Transogen Manipulator, 6⇵ Transogen Containment, 3⇵ Transogen Canister, 4⇵ Transogen Canister, 5⇵ Transogen Canister and 6⇵ Transogen Canister. Those are what you are actually farming for, and they are the reason to pick one target over another at the same level.

Where this sits

The factions page indexes every faction in the game, which have a store and reputation you can build, and which you only ever meet as targets.

For the three factions whose standing actually moves, see Federation, Klingon and Romulan. The faction reputation page covers the ladder and the locks.
