Borg hostiles are assimilated ships, drones, and armada structures that fly under the Collective in Star Trek Fleet Command. They range from early assimilated freighters up to the endgame Conqueror Borg, running level 25 to 81. As a family they drop a mix of Broken ship parts, Borg materials like Inert Nanoprobes, and Solo Outpost and armada rewards, so the group covers several different farms. Each hostile below links to its own full guide.
Every Borg hostile at a glance
The table covers all ten Borg hostiles that have a published guide, sorted from the lowest-level target to the highest. Use it to match a hostile to your level, check the warp you need, and see what it drops before you fly out. A couple of these are armada targets rather than normal ship kills, and the two Conqueror Borg ships come with a hard requirement covered below.
| Feindliche | Ebenen | Hull | Warp | Key drop |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Assimilated Ferengi Trader | 25–33 | Umfrage | 18–22 | Inert Nanoprobe |
| Assimilierter Ferengi-Bergmann | 25–42 | Umfrage | 22–24 | Rohes Latinum |
| Taktische Borg-Sonde | 25–58 | Schlachtschiff | 18–425 | Inert Nanoprobe |
| Assimiliertes Schiff | 26–51 | Battleship, Explorer, Interceptor | 22–185 | 4★ Broken Parts (all hulls) |
| Assimilated Galor-Class | 35–81 | Battleship, Explorer, Interceptor | 50–3000 | Solo Outpost Credits |
| Borg Erweiterungswürfel | 38–60 | Station (armada) | 35–205 | Vinculum Fragments |
| Assimilated Craft | 50–60 | Battleship, Explorer, Interceptor | 185–400 | 5★ Broken Parts (all hulls) |
| Assimilated Galor-Class Elite | 53–81 | Battleship, Explorer, Interceptor | 255–3000 | Elite Solo Outpost Credits |
| Conqueror Borg Obliterator | 55–80 | Entdecker | 320–6000 | 5★–7★ Broken Explorer Parts |
| Conqueror Borg Suppressor | 55–80 | Entdecker | 320–6000 | 5★–7★ Broken Explorer Parts |
Borg targets split into three kinds. The assimilated ships and drones, the Assimilated Ship, Assimilated Craft, Borg Tactical Probe, and the two Assimilated Ferengi, are normal kills that drop ship parts and Borg materials. The Assimilated Galor-Class line and the Borg Expansion Cube are armada and Solo Outpost targets that pay credits and components. The two Conqueror Borg ships are endgame Explorer targets whose parts scale from 5-star up to 7-star as their level climbs. The Assimilated Galor-Class targets reach the widest warp on the list, up to 3000, and the Conqueror Borg go all the way to 6000, so both are gated by deep-space range as much as by level.
What Borg hostiles drop
Borg hostiles do not move faction reputation the way Klingon or Föderation kills do; there is no Borg standing to raise or lower. Instead they pay materials. The assimilated ships drop Broken ship parts, and several add Borg-specific items: the Borg Tactical Probe and the Assimilated Ferengi Trader drop Inert Nanoprobes, the Assimilated Ferengi Miner drops Raw Latinum, and the Borg Expansion Cube drops Vinculum Fragments. If Nanoprobes are what you need, the Assimilated Ferengi Trader is the most accessible source at level 25 and single-digit warp, while the Borg Tactical Probe carries the same drop all the way up to level 58.
The Assimilated Galor-Class and its Elite version are Solo Outpost armada targets, so instead of parts they pay Solo Outpost Credits, Solo Outpost Components, and Outpost Retaliation medals across a wide level range. Those rewards feed the Solo Outpost track rather than your ship builds, which makes the Galor-Class line a different kind of farm from the rest of the Borg list.
Which ship should you bring?
Combat in STFC runs on a rock-paper-scissors between hull types. Interceptors beat Schlachtschiffe, Battleships beat Explorers, and Explorers beat Interceptors. The Hull column in the table tells you what each target flies, so bring the class that counters it. The Assimilated Ship and Assimilated Galor-Class show up as all three combat hulls, which lets you attack the version your strongest ship already beats. The Assimilated Galor-Class line and the Borg Expansion Cube are armada targets, so you bring a full armada rather than a single counter ship.
The two Conqueror Borg ships come with a hard rule. At their lower levels they destroy any attacking ship that is not a Borg Sphere the moment combat starts, and they instantly destroy your ship if Kathryn Janeway, Christopher Pike, or Enterprise-E Picard is in the crew. Bring a Borg Sphere, leave those three Offiziere at home, or skip the Conqueror Borg until you have the Sphere built.
For crew on the rest of the list, you want a captain that raises damage against hostiles plus officers that add damage or survivability. Good picks change with the meta and your own roster, so use the officer tier list for current recommendations at your level.
Worth-farming picks
A few Borg targets stand out once you line up the table against what you need:
- For Inert Nanoprobes, farm the Taktische Borg-Sonde. It is a Battleship-hull target from level 25 to 58 that drops Nanoprobes at every level, so it stays useful for a long stretch of the game.
- For Broken parts, the Assimiliertes Schiff drops 4-star parts for all three combat hulls from level 26 to 51, so it feeds whatever you are building early on.
- For Solo Outpost rewards, the Assimilated Galor-Class and its Elite version pay Solo Outpost Credits, components, and Retaliation medals as armada targets across a wide level range.
- At endgame, the Conqueror Borg Obliterator und Conqueror Borg Suppressor drop 5-star up to 7-star Explorer parts from level 55 to 80, but only to a Borg Sphere, so gear up before you go.
