The Monaveen is a Grade 4 Epic battleship from the Independent Hysperian faction, and it is a specialist rather than an all-purpose warship. Its whole reason to exist is farming Texas-class hostiles for Queen’s Favors and the Monaveen Refinery economy, thanks to an ability that only fires against those targets. You unlock the build at Shipyard level 40. If you run the Hysperian economy loop, it earns its slot; if you do not, a general battleship serves you better.
How to get the Monaveen
The Monaveen needs 200 blueprints and a Shipyard at level 40 before you can start the build. The build cost is 30,000,000 Tritanium, 3,000,000 Dilithium, 10,000 4★ Common Refined Ore, and 3,000 4★ Common Refined Crystal, with a build time of 40 days. The game data covers the requirement and cost but not where the blueprints come from, so plan the Tritanium and Dilithium first and gather the blueprints through whatever channel the game offers them in your server.
Monaveen ability
The ship ability is called Modernity is Overrated. It increases the Monaveen’s base damage against hostiles carrying the Texas-class [DAL] tag, starting at +52,000% at ship level 1 and climbing to +280,000% at level 60. Like all ship abilities, it is always active and needs no trigger. The catch is in the wording: the bonus applies only to Texas-class targets. Against anything else the multiplier does nothing, which is why the Monaveen is a purpose-built farming ship and not a fleet you take into general PvE or PvP.
Stats and tiers
Base values from the current game data; research, buffs and officers raise them in play. Here are three anchor tiers so you can see how the hull grows from tier 1 to the tier 12 cap.
| Tier | Warp (speed / range) | Impulse | Cargo (protected) | Shield HP | Hull HP | Health (displayed) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tier 1 | 4 / 70 | 80 | 40,000 (2,800) | 221,152 | 350,157 | 285,654.5 |
| Tier 6 | 5.66 / 125 | 90 | 256,600 (21,500) | 389,589 | 616,850 | 503,219.5 |
| Tier 12 | 7 / 250 | 106 | 1,032,600 (107,200) | 1,102,963 | 1,746,358 | 1,424,660.5 |
Weapons and firing pattern
Warm-up is the round a weapon first fires; cool-down is how many rounds pass between shots after that. These are the values at the tier 12 cap.
| Weapon | Type | Shots | Warm-up | Cool-down | Damage | Crit chance | Crit damage |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Weapon 1 | Energy | 2 | 1 | 1 | 51,091–61,877 | 10% | 150% |
| Weapon 2 | Kinetic | 1 | 1 | 2 | 170,140–206,059 | 10% | 150% |
| Weapon 3 | Energy | 2 | 1 | 1 | 51,091–61,877 | 10% | 150% |
Weapon 2 is the heavy hitter: a single kinetic shot that lands for far more than the two energy weapons combined, though it fires on a slower cool-down. When the Monaveen’s damage multiplier is live against a Texas-class target, that kinetic shot is what does the real work.
Crew slots and officer bonus
The Monaveen opens its first officer seat at ship level 5 and reaches a full bridge as it levels up.
| Ship level | Officer slots |
|---|---|
| 5 | 1 |
| 10 | 2 |
| 20 | 3 |
| 30 | 4 |
| 40 | 5 |
| 45 | 6 |
| 55 | 7 |
The ship also boosts the attack, defense and health stats of the officers you crew on it, stepping up a ladder as it progresses. On the Monaveen the attack, defense and health bonuses are identical at every step, so one column covers all three.
| Amount | Bonus (attack / defense / health) |
|---|---|
| 1,500 | 50% |
| 3,000 | 100% |
| 4,875 | 150% |
| 6,750 | 200% |
| 9,000 | 250% |
| 12,000 | 300% |
| 16,500 | 350% |
| 22,500 | 400% |
| 30,000 | 450% |
| 45,000 | 500% |
Monaveen refits
The Monaveen has one refit in the game data, and it changes the ship’s economy role more than its combat.
| Refit | What it does |
|---|---|
| Monaveen MkII Refit | Adds Sigma resources to Queen’s Favor claims in the Monaveen Refinery for players level 61 and above, and applies Burning to hostiles at the start of combat when you fly the Monaveen. |
Crew for the Monaveen
Because the Monaveen’s combat value is its damage multiplier against Texas-class hostiles, the bridge you want is one that clears those targets faster: a captain and officers that push weapon damage or critical hits, with enough defense or health support to survive the return fire while you farm. The single kinetic main weapon rewards anything that raises kinetic or overall weapon damage. Since the ship never fights outside that one matchup in practice, you do not need a flexible general-combat crew here; you want the fastest possible clear on Texas-class targets.
Officer picks shift with the meta, so check the current officer tier list for the best available damage and survivability crews before you commit.
The Monaveen in Star Trek
The Monaveen is a game-original design with no screen canon behind it; it belongs to the Hysperians, a faction created for Star Trek Fleet Command rather than the shows or films. In the game’s own story it is a state-of-the-art cruiser built by Hysperian royal engineers in tribute to Queen Paolana. The ship hides modern starship technology inside a medieval shell, with dragonbreath engines, elf matrices, horse stables, banquet halls and curved staircases behind an ornate exterior. The luxurious look is meant to charm allies while it conceals the weaponry that protects the Hysperian elite. In plain terms, it is a grand castle in the shape of a spaceship.
Is the Monaveen worth it?
For a Grade 4 Epic, the Monaveen is a narrow pick: it is an economy and farming ship, not a battleship you bring to a fight for its own sake. It stays useful as long as you run the Texas-class and Queen’s Favor loop, and the MkII refit extends that value into the Monaveen Refinery for higher-level players. Chase it if you are at Shipyard level 40 or beyond and want the Hysperian economy engine; skip it if you are after a general-purpose combat hull.
