The Border of All Knowledge is a Romulan faction mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you help the scientist Teban with his quantum research. You investigate a singularity, an anomaly and a rift across three systems, then take Teban back to his lab in Elvros. It starts at warp 1 after Providing and needs warp 120 to complete. There are no fights. The reward is 300 Ship XP, 700 Romulanisch Credits and 645,000 Romulan Points, and finishing it unlocks Become Death.
The Border of All Knowledge objectives
The story line is to assist a scientist with his quantum research. There are four objectives and no choice split:
- Investigate the Singularity. Location: Singularity Apex.
- Investigate an Anomaly. Location: Netron Omega.
- Investigate the rift. Location: Hollin.
- Return Teban to his lab. Location: Elvros.
Every step is travel. The mission is a four-leg route that ends in Elvros.

There is no pickup system. The mission opens at warp 1 once Providing is complete, and warp 120 covers all four systems.
The recommended level is listed as 1. With nothing to fight or pay, warp 120 is the only requirement.

Every mission in this run pays 700 Romulan Credits and costs some Klingon and Federation Points: 200,000 and 890,000 in Pushing the Issue, 250,000 and 1,000,000 in the next three, and 300,000 and 1,350,000 from Twenty Questions onward.
This is the only mission in the run that pays Ship XP instead of refined ore, and one of the few with no fight and no hostile grind.
Tips
Send your fastest ship with warp 120. Four travel legs and no combat make this a good job for a survey ship.
Plan the route in the listed order: Singularity Apex, Netron Omega, Hollin, then Elvros.
