Old Dogs is a Romulan faction mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you finally hunt down the Gorn spy Xahlik. All three objectives happen in Romashki: find the spy, defeat a Gorn ship and disable the spy’s ship. It starts at warp 1 after Worth the Wait and needs warp 110 to complete. The reward is 90 4★ Uncommon Refined Ore and 775,000 Romulanisch Points, and finishing it unlocks All Hands on Deck.
Old Dogs objectives
The story line is to hunt down the spy, Xahlik. There are three objectives and no choice split:
- Hunt down the spy. Location: Romashki.
- Defeat the Gorn ship. Location: Romashki. Enemy strength around 8.18 million.
- Disable the spy’s ship. Location: Romashki. Enemy strength around 8.4 million.
Everything happens in one system, and the two fights come one after the other.
Wo und welcher Warp
There is no pickup system. The mission appears at warp 1 after Worth the Wait, and warp 110 is enough to reach Romashki, the lowest range in this Romulan run.
The game lists a recommended level of 1. The two enemies at around 8.2 to 8.4 million strength are what decide whether you are ready.

Every mission in this run pays 700 Romulan Credits and costs some Klingon and Federation Points: 200,000 and 890,000 in Pushing the Issue, 250,000 and 1,000,000 in the next three, and 300,000 and 1,350,000 from Twenty Questions onward.
Old Dogs is the shortest trip in the run and pays the same 775,000 Romulan Points as the longer missions around it.
Tips
Go in at full health. There is no travel between the Gorn ship and the spy’s ship, so any damage from the first fight carries into the second.
Because it all happens in Romashki, one combat ship with warp 110 can finish the mission in a single trip.
