Become Death is a Romulan faction mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you help the scientist Teban test a new weapon. You follow him to the test site in Esto, pay 1.25M Dilithium to power the weapon, assist the test and bring Teban back to his lab in Ballion. It starts at warp 1 after The Border of All Knowledge and needs warp 120 to complete. The reward is 170 4★ Uncommon Refined Erze and Romulan standing, and it unlocks Twenty Questions.
Become Death objectives
The story line is to help Teban test a new weapon. There are four objectives and no choice split:
- Follow Teban to the test site. Location: Esto.
- Donate 1.25M Dilithium to power the weapon.
- Assist Teban. Location: Esto.
- Return Teban to his lab. Location: Ballion.
No hostile is listed at any step. The donation has no location, so you can make it as soon as you reach it.

There is no pickup system. Become Death appears at warp 1 once The Border of All Knowledge is done and needs warp 120 to reach Esto and Ballion.
The game lists a recommended level of 1. The two real requirements are warp 120 and the 1.25M Dilithium.

Every mission in this run pays 700 Romulan Credits and costs some Klingon and Federation Points: 200,000 and 890,000 in Pushing the Issue, 250,000 and 1,000,000 in the next three, and 300,000 and 1,350,000 from Twenty Questions onward.
Become Death pays the second largest ore reward in the run, behind Pushing the Issue, and it is the last mission before the Romulan Points jump to 775,000.
Tips
Keep 1.25M Dilithium on hand before you set out. It is the only cost, and it comes straight after the first travel step.
Any ship with warp 120 can finish this; no combat is involved.
