Specters of Days Gone is a level 67 Federation mission in Star Trek Fleet Command, picked up in Shrev’s Eye. Admiral Sallins calls for help when Starbase 79 is attacked by a fleet of commandeered Föderation ships, and you chase the attacker to find out who is behind it. It needs warp 1400 to start and to complete, includes two ship fights and a hostile hunt, and pays 8,000 Σ-Tritanium, 26,000 Σ-Parsteel and Federation reputation. It carries the most story of the Shrev’s Eye missions.
Specters of Days Gone objectives
There are six objectives and no choice split:
- Investigate the disturbance at Starbase 79. Location: Fjorn.
- Defeat the unknown attacker. Location: Fjorn.
- Pursue the saboteur. Location: Sassafras.
- Defeat 12 hostiles of level 67 or higher.
- Defeat the USS Mina. Location: Sassafras.
- Return to Starbase 79 with a status report. Location: Fjorn.
At Starbase 79 in Fjorn, the attackers turn out to be Föderationsschiffe turned against their own. You beat the unknown attacker, listed at about 9.2 billion strength, and one ship retreats: the USS Mina, Sallins’ old Befehl. The attack hit the starbase during a promotion ceremony, and Sallins wants whoever ordered it brought back alive.
Ion trails point to Sassafras, where the Mina hides among hostile ships that come at you, which is the 12-hostile objective. The Mina’s commander, a Vulcan named Captain Teveth, then turns the ship on you; it is listed at about 9.15 billion. After you disable it, Teveth triggers the auto-destruct and your transporter lock fails. Back at the starbase, Sallins explains that Teveth blamed her for the death of his father, her first officer, when the Mina strayed into Klingonisch space during the war.

The mission is picked up in Shrev’s Eye. The fighting is in Fjorn and Sassafras, and the report goes back to Fjorn. Both the start and the finish need warp 1400, and the recommended level is 67.

Tips
The hostile hunt and the Mina fight run back to back in Sassafras. Only hostiles of level 67 or higher count toward the 12, and there is no travel step before the Mina, so repair after the hunt if you can.
