Tuvan Syndrome is a level 67 Romulan mission in Star Trek Fleet Command, picked up in Milagriean. Doctor Otiuth needs help working out why a genetic disease that should not spread is breaking out in a local colony, and the Senate will not help. It needs warp 1400 to start and to complete, has no fights but two donations, and pays 50,000 Σ-Parsteel, 99,000 Iso-emulsion and Romulanisch reputation. It has the best rewards of the Milagriean missions, paid for in Ressourcen rather than combat.
Tuvan Syndrome objectives
There are five objectives and no choice split:
- Visit the Tuvan Syndrome clinic. Location: Milagriean.
- Donate 90,000 G6 Roherz to bribe the science vessel pilot.
- Find the military base. Location: Cualonor.
- Donate 45M Dilithium to isolate the radioactive particles.
- Return to the clinic. Location: Milagriean.
At the clinic, the nurse Lotoka reports that the patients’ neural systems are breaking down faster than Tuvan Syndrome should allow. A pilot named Hajihk keeps bringing in new patients but says their origin is classified. Otiuth asks his price, and 90,000 G6 Raw Ore buys the answer: almost all of them come from a military base in Cualonor.
The base commander threatens you until Otiuth promises discretion and offers her the credit for curing her crew. Your scan finds a prototype warp engine on a new Scimitar-class ship missing its nullifier cores, which also block residual radiation. With 45M Dilithium, your crew isolates the radioactive particles and works out a treatment. The disease turns out to be radiation sickness that mimics Tuvan Syndrome, and it is curable.

Tips
Stock both donations before you start: 90,000 G6 Raw Ore for the pilot and 45M Dilithium for the particle work. Both are required, and each one blocks the step after it.
With no fights, any ship with warp 1400 can finish the mission. That makes it a good job for a survey or mining ship while your combat ships run the other Milagriean missions.
