Xindi-Aquatic Enhanced Cruiser

The Xindi-Aquatic Enhanced Cruiser is a Xindi-Aquatic Battleship hostile that roams levels 40 to 62 across Xindi and deep-space systems in Star Trek Fleet Command. It only ever spawns as a Battleship, so an Interceptor is your counter. It drops Tech Modules and Xindi Scraps for mid and late-game upgrades, and its warp requirement climbs from 70 at the low levels to 1000 at level 62. Bring the right hull, match the warp, and it is a steady grind target.

How to beat the Xindi-Aquatic Enhanced Cruiser

This hostile appears only as a Battleship, so bring an Interceptor and stay in it. There is no hull to swap between levels and nothing else to counter. Battleships fall to Interceptors, which is the whole matchup you need here.

For crew, the principle matters more than any single lineup: a captain that raises weapon damage against hostiles, with officers that add more damage or shield and hull mitigation. Because the Cruiser can outlast a slow crew, most players get more out of officers that push burst damage than ones that only add sustain. The exact best picks shift with the meta and with your roster, so check the current STFC Officer Tier List before you commit shards. Crews change often, so treat any named lineup as a starting point rather than a fixed answer, and lean on whatever high-tier damage officers you already have unlocked.

Read its abilities before you engage. Its passive, Strength of the Ibix, gives it 10 shots per weapon and makes all of its damage ignore your shields, so shield mitigation will not save you in a long fight. Favor hull tanking or a fast kill instead of leaning on your shields. On top of that it runs a stacked ability set: Be Like Water cuts your critical-hit damage for two rounds, Denticle Blade has a 30% chance to fire heavy artillery on the fifth weapon of the round, and Xindi Might closes each round with nine shots from a super weapon that deals lethal damage. The takeaway is simple: end the fight quickly and do not count on shields or crits to carry you.

Where to find the Xindi-Aquatic Enhanced Cruiser

The lower levels cluster in the mid-warp Xindi region and the higher levels push into deep, high-warp systems. Warp climbs from 70 at level 40 to 1000 at level 62, so plan your jump range around the level you want to farm. Each level tends to sit in its own system or a small pair of them, so once you find a level your ship clears cleanly it is easy to park nearby and repeat the run. The steepest warp jumps come after level 55, where the target moves into systems that need 500-plus warp to reach.

Level Warp Systems
40 70 Demetrium, Estellion
42 110 Juuska
44 150 Faden
46 190 Dahkso
48 200 Tamhluch
50 210 Paynax
51 220 Emissius
53 240 Anorlo
55 250 Taskeh
57 525 Meedra
59 550 Tebith
60 830 Mobhi
61 950 Glensha
62 1000 Yoton

Rewards and what it drops

Every kill returns two resources, and both scale up sharply with the hostile’s level. Ship XP scales the same way, from 1,502 at level 40 to 19,400 at level 62, so higher-level targets are also better for grinding component levels on your Interceptor.

Drop What it is
Tech Module An upgrade material used for building and leveling ship technology.
Xindi Scraps A Xindi faction resource used for Xindi-themed builds and refits.

Xindi-Aquatic Enhanced Cruiser firing pattern

Its four kinetic weapons fire every round and carry the bulk of its damage, so that group is what you are timing repairs and mitigation against. The single energy weapon also fires every round, while the heavy kinetic gun only comes around once every 100 rounds and almost never matters in a normal fight.

Weapon type Count Damage per shot Fires Crit
Energy 1 10,000,000,000 Every round 10% (1.5x)
Kinetic 4 496,003 to 20,000,000,000 Every round 1% (1.5x)
Kinetic 1 2,480,016 to 2,695,670 Every 100 rounds 100% (7.5x)

The Xindi-Aquatic in Star Trek

The Xindi-Aquatic are one of the five surviving Xindi species from Star Trek: Enterprise, alongside the Primates, Arboreals, Reptilians, and Insectoids. Large, whale-like beings who live in flooded vessels, they were the slowest of the Xindi Council to reach a decision and the most cautious about the plan to destroy Earth. That patience made them a moderating voice against the aggressive Reptilians and Insectoids. In the end the Aquatics sided with Captain Archer, using their enormous ships to help stop the superweapon aimed at humanity. Their vessels were among the largest the Xindi built.

Is the Xindi-Aquatic Enhanced Cruiser worth grinding?

It is a solid target if you need Tech Modules or Xindi Scraps, and the strong ship XP makes it useful for leveling an Interceptor’s components at the same time. Pick a level your ship can clear cleanly, match its warp so you can actually reach it, and stay in an Interceptor to keep the matchup in your favor. Because its damage ignores shields, lean on hull strength and a quick kill over a drawn-out fight.
