The Illusion of Peace is a late-game Star Trek Fleet Command mission where you deal with Gorn rebels in Klingon space. You pick it up in Lu’Kash, fight two enemies there at roughly 6.39 million strength each, then move an experiment to Rixos and report to Y’raghn. It has a recommended level of 46 and needs warp 120 to start and finish. The reward is 400 3 Hour Speed Ups, 700 Klingon Credits and 538,000 Klingon Points.
The Illusion of Peace objectives
There are four objectives and no choice split:
- Defeat the Gorn rebel. Location: Lu’Kash. Enemy strength is roughly 6,389,135.
- Defeat the rebel leader. Location: Lu’Kash. Enemy strength is roughly 6,389,135.
- Move the experiment to a more secure location. Location: Rixos.
- Report to Y’raghn. Location: Rixos.
The fighting comes first and happens where you pick the mission up. The Gorn rebel and the rebel leader share the same strength, so the second fight is no easier than the first. After that the mission is travel: move the experiment to Rixos and report to Y’raghn there.
Where and what warp
The pickup system is Lu’Kash, and both the start and the finish need warp 120. Lu’Kash and Rixos are both Klingon systems. Because the fights are in the pickup system, you can start fighting as soon as you accept the mission.
The recommended level is 46. Two back-to-back fights at about 6.39 million each are what that level has to handle.

The mission raises your Klingon standing by 538,000 and lowers your Federation standing by 200,000 and your Romulan standing by 890,000. The 400 3 Hour Speed Ups come to 1,200 hours, or 50 days off your timers.
How it compares with a similar Klingon mission
Undying Spirit is another warp 120 mission with a pickup system in Klingon space and a Klingon-leaning reward:

The Illusion of Peace is the easier of the two and pays 400 3 Hour Speed Ups on top, which Undying Spirit does not.
Tips
Go in fully repaired, and repair between the two fights if you need to. Both Gorn enemies are the same strength, so a ship that barely wins the first will struggle with the second.
Weigh the Romulan standing loss. Almost 900,000 Romulan Points is a large drop. If you are working toward a Romulan reputation tier, this mission moves you away from it.
