The Origin Sector Arc is the set of 29 Star Trek Fleet Command missions that lead you into the Origin Sector of the galaxy, where the Breen and the Tholians are at war. Every mission is recommended for level 25, and almost all of them need warp 20 to complete. The arc opens the warp paths into the sector, teaches you Isogen through the five-part Origin Sector chain, and pays Raw Isogen, Iso-emulsion, Dilithium, 3★ ship parts and Ultra Recruit Tokens along the way.
How the Origin Sector Arc works
Two missions matter more than the rest. Unlock the Origin Sector is a one-step mission at your own station that opens warp paths to the Origin Sector and lets you take part in Territory Capture. Its reward is only 2,000 Parsteel, but everything else in the sector sits behind it. The Origin Sector chain is the other one to run early: across five parts that begin in Tola Alpha, you mine and refine Raw Isogen, win a few faction fights and unlock Isogen Extraction research. Finishing each part opens the next, and only Part 4 stays at warp 1.
The rest of the arc is 23 single missions, many of them about the fighting between the Breen and the Tholians, with much of the action in Nott and Beta Assembly: A Dent in the Armor takes the fight to the Tholians, Paper Trail uncovers the truth behind the Tholian attack, and Boiling Point asks you to back the Breen, back the Tholians or stay out of it. Missions that end in a choice list what either path can pay, so one run will not collect every reward in that row.
Because the level never changes, the arc works well as one long session for a level 25 commander with warp 20. Fights such as the Tholian guard in Paper Trail sit around 75,000 strength.
Origin Sector Arc rewards worth chasing
The Origin Sector chain is the Isogen source: Parts 1 and 2 pay 5,000 1⇴ Raw Isogen between them, Part 3 pays 200 Iso-emulsion, and Parts 4 and 5 add 60,000 Dilithium.
For ship parts, A Friendly Conversation und Like A Hurricane each pay 240 3★ Battleship Parts, Dolche raus pays 240 3★ Explorer Parts, and Into Thin Air pays 240 3★ Interceptor Parts with 80 3★ Explorer Parts. A Friendly Conversation also lists 469,000 Parsteel, 8,000 Dilithium and two 1 Day Speed Ups, which makes it one of the richest single missions in the arc.
A Devil on Your Shoulder und Hanging by a Thread each pay 600 Ultra Recruit Tokens. Ear to the Ground pays the most Parsteel at 703,000, and Don’t Look Down pays a mix of Parsteel, Tritanium, Dilithium and 15 Latinum. All-Encompassing und Arbitrary Arbitration each pay a 1 Day Peace Shield.
