Every Vulcan Has His Price is a Mirror Mirror story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command. You work with the Enterprise to break up Mirror Spock’s fleet of Nausicaan mercenaries, following the Jellyfish’s warp trail to Nelve and defeating two Nausicaan ships there. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 8 to complete, and the game lists a recommended level of 1. The reward is 180 Dilithium, and finishing it unlocks Jellyfish Smack, which pays Spock shards.
Every Vulcan Has His Price objectives
There are three objectives, all in Nelve, and no choice split:
- Find the Jellyfish’s warp trail. Location: Nelve.
- Defeat the Nausicaan Battleship. Location: Nelve. Enemy strength is roughly 2,300.
- Defeat the Nausicaan Explorer. Location: Nelve. Enemy strength is roughly 2,905.
Both fights come after you find the warp trail. The Explorer is slightly stronger than the Battleship, and beating it completes the mission with no return trip listed.
Wo und welcher Warp
You can accept the mission at warp 1, and warp 8 is enough to reach Nelve and finish. Nelve is a level 12 neutral system, and current hostile Daten lists Nausicaan Outlaws there at level 10 to 15. They are not mission targets.
The listed recommended level is 1. The two Nausicaan ships at about 2,300 and 2,900 strength are the fights to prepare for, which suits a ship around the level of Nelve’s own hostiles.

This mission pays the least of the three on its own. Its value is that it opens Jellyfish Smack and the Spock shards. The Supernova of Romulus is about uncovering the mirror counterpart’s motives, and this mission turns that into a fight with his Nausicaan mercenaries.
Tips
Run it back to back with Jellyfish Smack. All three Missionen stay within warp 8, so one ship can handle the whole stretch without an upgrade.
Nelve also hosts other low-level missions if you want to pick up more work on the same trip. Wilde Länder (level 12), Gekreuzte Klingen (level 13), The Seeds of Chaos (level 14) and Helfen Sie mit (level 16) all finish at warp 8, the same as this mission.
