Crossed Blades is a level 13 mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you take down Polsik, the leader of the Takret. It has a single objective: defeat the Takret Commander Polsik in the Bellas system. The mission is picked up in Nelve or Bellas and needs warp 8 to start and to finish. The reward is one 1★ Survey Part, which is small, so run it mainly while you are already working other Missionen around Nelve and Bellas.

Polsik is the whole mission. There is no hostile quota and no return trip.

Crossed Blades is offered in two systems, Nelve and Bellas. Warp 8 covers both accepting and completing it. The recommended level is 13.
The game lists four Pakled Thieves in Bellas at level 12 to 15, and Nausicaan Outlaws in Nelve at level 10 to 15. Neither group is part of the mission.

Other missions from Nelve and Bellas
Both pickup systems offer a small group of warp 8 missions around the same level, most of them about the local Nausicaans and Takret.

Crossed Blades pays the least of the group, but it is also the quickest: one fight and done.
Bellas itself turns up in several other early missions, including Die Supernova von Romulus from the Mirror Mirror storyline, so you may already know the route. Most of those also finish at warp 8, the same range Crossed Blades needs.
Tips
Polsik is about 5,100 strength, which is well within reach of a level 13 combat ship. Fly straight to Bellas and take the fight. The Pakled Thieves there go up to level 15, so there is no reason to fight them on the way in.
