Eternal Empire is a Klingon story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you make a decision that will shape the future of the Klingon Empire. You travel to the Conclave in Rai’Trohk and choose whether to side with Gorkon or with Chang. Each side has its own two fights, and the officer shards you earn depend on the choice: two Gorkon shards or seven Chang shards. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 160 to complete.
Eternal Empire objectives
The first two objectives are shared. After that the mission splits into two paths with different enemies and rewards.
- Go to the Conclave. Location: Rai'Trohk.
- Decide who to side with.
If you side with Gorkon
- Defeat Chang’s Guard. Location: Rai’Trohk. Enemy strength is roughly 8,177,045.
- Defeat Chang. Location: Rai’Trohk. Enemy strength is roughly 8,452,336.
- Return to Kronos with Gorkon. Location: Kronos.
Rewards for this path: 2 Gorkon shards, 230 Klingon Recruit Tokens, 700 Klingon Credits, 774,000 Klingon Points and minus 1,188,864 Romulanisch Points.
If you side with Chang
- Defeat the High Council Guard. Location: Rai’Trohk. Enemy strength is roughly 8,177,045.
- Defeat the High Council Elite. Location: Rai’Trohk. Enemy strength is roughly 8,452,336.
- Surrender to Gorkon. Location: Rai’Trohk.
- Return to Kronos with Gorkon. Location: Kronos.
Rewards for this path: 7 Chang shards, 250 Klingon Recruit Tokens, 700 Klingon Credits, 774,000 Klingon Points and minus 1,188,864 Romulan Points.
Both paths end the same way, with you returning to Kronos alongside Gorkon. The fights are equally strong on either side.
Wo und welcher Warp
You can accept Eternal Empire at warp 1, but the route to Rai’Trohk and Kronos needs warp 160. The game lists a recommended level of 1. What actually decides when you can run it is that warp range and two fights at roughly 8.2 and 8.5 million strength.
The game lists Klingonisch Patrols, Klingon Hunters and a Klingon Scout in Rai’Trohk at level 46 to 52. They are not mission targets.

Eternal Empire does not unlock a follow-up. The mission before it is Kein Rückzug, keine Gnade, where you help Chang push back against Starfleet.
Tips
Choose based on the officer you want. The Chang path gives more than three times as many shards and 20 more recruit tokens. The Gorkon path is the one to take if you are collecting Gorkon.
Both fights sit in Rai’Trohk and come one after the other. Repair between them if you can, since the second enemy is the stronger of the two.
The Romulan Points loss is almost 1.19 million on either path, so this mission pulls you firmly toward the Klingons. Ehre für Dich is the other mission set in Rai’Trohk, and it takes the Romulan side at the same warp 160.
