Border Lands is a Klingon patrol mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you run a border route along the Neutral Zone and find out why there is more Federation activity there. It is picked up in Ganalda, needs warp 50 to start and warp 53 to complete, and the game lists a recommended level of 1. There is no combat: four stops and a report. The reward is 500 Klingon Recruit Tokens, 380 Klingon Credits and 50,000 Klingon Points.

Border Lands objectives

Es gibt vier Ziele und keine Verzweigung:

  • Visit the Azha system. Location: Azha.
  • Contact the Föderation ship in the Carraya system. Location: Carraya.
  • Investigate the Starfleet presence in the Nibiq system. Location: Nibiq.
  • Report back to the General. Location: Ty’Gokor.

The route is a patrol: Azha, Carraya and Nibiq, then back to the General at Ty’Gokor. No hostile is listed at any step.

Wo und welcher Warp

The pickup system is Ganalda. The mission needs warp 50 to start and warp 53 to complete, so check that your ship can reach every stop before you pick it up.

The recommended level is listed as 1, and with no fights, range is the only real requirement.

Border Lands rewards

Belohnung Amount
Klingon Recruit Token 500
Klingon Credits 380
Klingon Points 50,000
Romulanisch Punkte -56,000
Federation Points -16,800

The game Daten lists no next mission unlocked by Border Lands, so it stands on its own.

For players building Klingonisch reputation, it is an easy source of points and Klingon Recruit Tokens. The Romulan loss is slightly larger than the Klingon gain; the Fraktionsruf page explains what that means.

Other Klingon missions from Ganalda

Ganalda is also the pickup system for two other Klingon missions at warp 50. Both involve combat:

Mission Warp Fight Main rewards
Grenzgebiete 50 to start, 53 to complete Keine 500 Klingon Recruit Tokens, 380 Klingon Credits, 50,000 Klingon Points
Die Dunkelheit steigt herab 50 Unknown ship, about 1,692,935 888,000 Dilithium, 600 Klingon Credits, 100,000 Klingon Points
Glory in Death 50 Romulan Guards, about 2,423,081 17,500,000 Parsteel, 18 3 Hour Speed Ups, 600 Klingon Credits, 100,000 Klingon Points

Border Lands is the only one of the three without a fight, and it is the one that pays recruit tokens. The other two pay twice the Klingon Points but need a ship that can beat enemies near two million power.

Glory in Death also passes through Carraya, where you confront the Romulan Ambassador on O’weQ.

Tips

Send a non-combat ship with warp 53. The patrol is travel only, so your Schlachtschiffe are better used on the other Ganalda missions.

Pick up all three Ganalda missions together if they are available, since they share a pickup system and warp range. Other missions sorted by level are on the Missionsleitfaden.
