The Death of Innocence is a Star Trek Fleet Command mission from the It Came From Deep Space storyline, where you track down Veezen. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 18 to complete. You steal a Föderation ship in Priya, kill its pilot, find Veezen on Angosia II and then decide whether to kill him or let him live. Killing him pays 15,000 Dilithium and 26 1 Hour Speed Ups; sparing him pays 400 Ultra Recruit Tokens and 62,000 Officer XP. Both add Romulanisch Credits and Points.
The Death of Innocence objectives
Three shared steps lead to the choice:
- Go to Priya to steal a Federation ship. Location: Priya.
- Kill the Federation pilot. Location: Priya. Enemy strength is about 74,100.
- Go to Angosia II to find Veezen. Location: Angosia.
- Kill Veezen or let him live.
Path 1: kill him
- Return to Draken I. Location: Draken.
Rewards for Path 1: 15,000 Dilithium, 26 1 Hour Speed Ups, 130 Romulan Credits, 2,000 Romulan Points and -1,200 Federation Points.
Path 2: let him live
- Return to Draken I. Location: Draken.
Rewards for Path 2: 400 Ultra Recruit Tokens, 62,000 Officer XP, 130 Romulan Credits, 2,000 Romulan Points and -1,200 Federation Points.
Both paths end with the same trip to Draken I. The choice only changes the rewards.

Which path to pick
Killing Veezen is the time path: 26 hours of speed ups plus a little Dilithium. Letting him live is the officer path: 400 Ultra Recruit Tokens and 62,000 Officer XP. There is no extra fight or cost on either side, so pick by what you need.

All three pay the same 130 Romulan Credits and 2,000 Romulan Points and take 1,200 Federation Points, and each has a kill-or-spare choice.
Tips
Any combat ship with a margin over 74,100 strength can handle the pilot, which is the only fight here.
