Romulan Enforcer

The Romulan Enforcer is a Romulan Battleship hostile you fight in Romulan space between levels 39 and 51. It only ever spawns as a Battleship, so the ship you want against it is an Interceptor. Killing it drops 4-star Broken Battleship Parts and earns Federation and Klingon reputation, while it costs you Romulan reputation. Warp needs run from 64 at the low levels up to 160 at level 51.

How to beat the Romulan Enforcer

The Romulan Enforcer appears as a Battleship and nothing else, so bring an Interceptor. In Star Trek Fleet Command the hull types beat each other in a loop, and the Interceptor is the class that counters the Battleship. Because there is only one variant across all levels, you never have to swap hull types as you move up the level range. Pick one solid Interceptor and stay on it.

For crew, put a captain that boosts weapon damage against hostiles in the captain’s chair, then fill the other seats with officers that add damage or shore up your defenses. Early in this range a cadet crew still works: Cadet Kirk as captain with Cadet Spock and Cadet Uhura beside him. As you level up you will outgrow that, so check the Officer Tier List for current picks. Crews shift with the meta, so treat any named lineup as a starting point rather than a permanent answer.

Where to find the Romulan Enforcer

The Romulan Enforcer clusters in Romulan space. The lower levels sit at warp 64 in systems like Ortexa, Rowla and Vola, and the spawn spreads wider as the level climbs. By the top of the range the warp requirement jumps sharply, reaching 160 at level 51 in a handful of deep systems. Match your warp range to the level you want before you set out.

Rewards and what it drops

The main prize is 4-star Broken Battleship Parts, the material you use to build and upgrade tier-4 battleships. Every kill also swings your faction standing: you gain Federation and Klingon reputation for hitting a Romulan target, and you lose Romulan reputation for the same reason, so keep an eye on that if you are working Romulan missions. Ship XP climbs steadily with level, so higher-level Enforcers are worth more toward your ship’s own progression.

Drop What it is
4-star Broken Battleship Parts Building material for tier-4 battleships
Federation Points Federation reputation, gained for attacking a Romulan target
Klingon Points Klingon reputation, gained for attacking a Romulan target
Romulan Points Romulan reputation, which you lose for attacking a Romulan target

Romulan Enforcer stats

Stats climb steeply with level, so a level 51 Enforcer is worlds tougher than a level 39 one. The rows below show the low, mid and high anchors.

Level Total strength Hull HP Shield HP Attack Defense Ship XP

Romulan Enforcer firing pattern

The Enforcer carries two weapon groups. Its energy weapons fire every round for steady pressure, while its heavier kinetic shot lands every other round and hits for the most damage per shot. Time your repairs and mitigation around that kinetic swing, since a big kinetic hit is what does the real harm in a drawn-out fight.

Weapon type Count Damage per shot Fires Crit
Energy 2 114,663-140,146 Every round 10% (1.8x)
Kinetic 1 274,300-335,258 Every other round 10% (1.8x)

The Romulans in Star Trek

The Romulans are an offshoot of the Vulcans who left Vulcan long ago and rejected its path of pure logic, building instead a secretive, militaristic empire ruled from the twin worlds of Romulus and Remus. Where Vulcans prize reason, Romulans prize cunning, loyalty to the state, and the advantage of the unseen move. Their warbirds are famous for cloaking technology that lets them strike from hiding, and their politics run on intelligence services and quiet manipulation as much as open force. In Star Trek Fleet Command that character shows up in their ships and crews, which reward players who fight smart rather than simply throw weight around.

Is the Romulan Enforcer worth grinding?

Yes, if you are stocking up 4-star Broken Battleship Parts or building Federation and Klingon reputation while you play in Romulan space. The steady ship XP is a nice bonus as you push a battleship up its tiers. Just budget for the Romulan reputation you give up on each kill, match your warp to the level you are chasing, and bring the Interceptor that counters its Battleship hull.
