Quantum Adjudicator 2

Quantum Adjudicator 2 is an Origin Sector hostile that roams levels 63 to 70 in the Beta systems of Origin space. It spawns as a Battleship, Explorer, or Interceptor, all at warp 6, and drops Raw Isogenite on every kill. The catch is its gate: it can only be fought by a Federation, Klingon, or Romulan faction ship, or the U.S.S. Vengeance. Bring the right faction, match your class to the variant, and it becomes a clean Isogenite grind.

How to beat the Quantum Adjudicator 2

Read its gate before you undock. The Quantum Adjudicator 2 has an ability called Almost Omnipotent: it can only be engaged by Federation, Klingon, or Romulan faction ships, or by the U.S.S. Vengeance. Any other vessel is destroyed the instant combat starts, so a non-faction hull loses automatically before it can fire a shot. Sort out faction first, then worry about class.

It appears as three hull types, so the hull-counter triangle decides which class you bring. Interceptors beat Battleships, Battleships beat Explorers, and Explorers beat Interceptors, while Survey ships barely fight at all. Map that to the variant in front of you: send an Interceptor at the Battleship spawn, a Battleship at the Explorer, and an Explorer at the Interceptor. If you park in one system and grind, expect to swap ships between kills as different variants appear.

Its second ability, Judicious Preparation, raises the Adjudicator’s Isolytic Damage, Isolytic Defense, Apex Barrier, and Apex Shred at the start of combat. It opens the fight already buffed on the endgame Isolytic and Apex layers, so an under-leveled ship feels the damage spike right away. Come with a hull built for this level band rather than testing it with something marginal.

For crew, lead with a captain that boosts weapon damage against hostiles and fill the other seats with officers that add damage or mitigation. Levels 63 to 70 are endgame territory, so the cadet starter crews do not belong here. Check the Officer Tier List for current picks, and remember crews shift with the meta.

Where to find the Quantum Adjudicator 2

The Quantum Adjudicator 2 clusters in the Origin Sector’s Beta systems and holds one warp requirement across its whole level range: warp 6. The same twelve systems carry the level 63, 66, and 70 spawns, so once you can reach one you can reach them all. Pick a system close to your base to cut travel time between kills.

Level Warp Systems
63 6 Abilakk Beta, Anzat Beta, Bolari Beta, Burran Beta, Crios Beta, Duportas Alpha, Eldur Alpha, Hoobishan Beta, Hrojost Beta, Roshar Beta, Vantar Beta, Zhian Beta
66 6 Abilakk Beta, Anzat Beta, Bolari Beta, Burran Beta, Crios Beta, Duportas Alpha, Eldur Alpha, Hoobishan Beta, Hrojost Beta, Roshar Beta, Vantar Beta, Zhian Beta
70 6 Abilakk Beta, Anzat Beta, Bolari Beta, Burran Beta, Crios Beta, Duportas Alpha, Eldur Alpha, Hoobishan Beta, Hrojost Beta, Roshar Beta, Vantar Beta, Zhian Beta

Rewards and what it drops

Every kill pays out in Raw Isogenite, the resource these Origin hostiles exist to farm. Isogenite feeds endgame refining and upgrades, so the Adjudicator is a grind target for players already deep into the Origin arc rather than a casual stop. Ship XP also climbs hard with level, from 37,000 at level 63 to 90,000 at level 70, so higher spawns pay better if your ship can take them.

Drop What it is
Raw Isogenite (200 to 4,730 per kill) A high-tier Isogen material used for endgame research, refining, and upgrades
Raw Isogenite (500 per kill) The same material in a smaller fixed amount on some kills

Quantum Adjudicator 2 firing pattern

The Adjudicator fires two weapon groups every round, one Energy and one Kinetic, both landing in the same damage range. The danger is the crit: a 30% chance to deal a 3x critical, so any round can spike well above the base numbers. Save your mitigation and repairs for the rounds where a double crit could land.

Weapon type Count Damage per shot Fires Crit
Energy 2 27,920,267 to 32,775,965 Every round 30% (3x)
Kinetic 2 27,920,267 to 32,775,965 Every round 30% (3x)

Q and the Origin Sector in Star Trek

The Adjudicator’s gating ability quotes Q by name, and the Origin Sector content leans on him. Q is a member of the Q Continuum, a race of effectively omnipotent beings who exist outside normal space and time. He first tested humanity by putting Captain Picard on trial for the crimes of his species in the opening episode of The Next Generation, then returned across that series, Deep Space Nine, and Voyager as a trickster who bends reality for his own amusement. The Adjudicator itself is a game creation rather than a canon ship, but its all-or-nothing rules fit Q’s habit of setting impossible terms and daring you to meet them.

Is the Quantum Adjudicator 2 worth grinding?

If you are in the Origin arc and need Raw Isogenite, yes. It is a steady source of that material plus solid ship XP at the top of its band, and the fixed warp 6 requirement makes it easy to route once you are set up. If you have not reached the level and faction gate it demands, skip it: a wrong-faction ship dies before it fires. Bring a Federation, Klingon, or Romulan hull, match your class to the variant, and pick the highest level your ship can clear.
