Obstruction is a Romulan storyline mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which you investigate a Starfleet presence in Lycia and follow the trail into Krah’Hor. The game lists a recommended level of 1; it starts at warp 1 and needs warp 17 to finish. You pay an informant 10,000 Tritanium, destroy a Klingon Bortas and report to Draken I. The reward is 9 3★ Uncommon Refined Ore, 10,000 Dilithium, 60 Romulan Credits and 600 Romulan Points, and it unlocks Sink Into Shadow.
Obstruction objectives
There are five objectives and no choice split:
- Investigate Starfleet presence in Lycia. Location: Lycia.
- Pay Veezen 10,000 Tritanium for information.
- Track the Starfleet vessels to Krah’Hor. Location: Krah’Hor.
- Destroy the Klingon Bortas. Location: Krah’Hor (enemy strength ~39,484).
- Report to Draken I. Location: Draken.
The investigation starts in Lycia, where Veezen sells you the lead. Following the Starfleet ships takes you into Krah’Hor, and the fight there is with a Klingon Bortas rather than a Starfleet vessel. Once it is destroyed, you report to Draken I.
Where and what warp
Warp 1 to start and warp 17 to complete, with no pickup system. Lycia, Krah’Hor and Draken are the three systems.
The Klingon Bortas at about 39,484 strength is the one fight, and warp 17 is the travel requirement.

The Romulan Credits step from 50 to 60 to 80 across these missions, and the Romulan Points from 500 to 600 to 800.
Tips
Have 10,000 Tritanium ready before you get to Lycia. The payment to Veezen is the second objective and has to be made before the trail to Krah’Hor opens.
The Klingon Bortas is a modest fight at about 39,484 strength, the same figure as the Bortas in Moment of Impact. If your ship handled that one, it can handle this.
The 3★ Uncommon Refined Ore is only 9 units, so the 10,000 Dilithium is the more useful half of the payout at this stage.
