God Complex is a five-part mission chain in which you help the USS Cerritos with a geological survey that goes badly wrong, then track down a Technomancer, rescue Boimler from strange aliens and finally pull the Cerritos crew back from a Celestial. Every part is recommended for level 10, it starts in Imgra, and no part needs more than warp 7. The chain pays shards for three Lower Decks officers, Brad Boimler, Sam Rutherford and D’Vana Tendi, plus 2★ refined materials and ship parts. It is a quick, low-cost chain that suits a new player.

Tips for completing God Complex
The chain stays close to home. Parts 1 to 4 need only warp 5 and Part 5 needs warp 7, so travel is short. Imgra is the hub, and every part except Part 4 brings you back to it.
Keep 9,000 Parsteel ready for Part 2, since Mariner’s experiment is a required step. In Part 3 the payment branch only costs 400 Tritanium and skips a 10-hostile fight, while the fight branch pays 7,000 Parsteel instead of 1,000 Tritanium. Both give the same Rutherford shard and Explorer Parts, so choose based on whether you would rather spend time or Tritanium.
Part 1 works the same way. Towing the Cerritos out pays 1,500 Parsteel and escaping pays 210 Tritanium, with the Boimler shard and 10,000 Officer XP on both branches, so the choice matters very little.
Combat is light. The kill objectives ask for hostiles of level 8 or 9 and up, and the only named fights are the Celestial and its forces in Part 5, both around 3,000 strength. Repair before Part 5, since those two fights come back to back.
Are the God Complex rewards worth it?
Yes for a new player. Shards for Brad Boimler, Sam Rutherford and D’Vana Tendi come with 2★ refined ore, gas and crystal and a spread of 2★ ship parts, all useful around level 10. The whole chain needs no more than warp 7 and costs 9,000 Parsteel plus, at most, 400 Tritanium. See the mission guide for what to run next.
