Final Straw is a Federation story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you defend Andoria and Denobula from Suliban assaults. You take a defensive position in Denobula Triaxa and beat three Suliban ships in a row, ending with Sovren himself. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 53 to complete. The reward is ten 8 Hour Speed Ups, 3★ Uncommon Refined Gas, Federation Credits and 50,000 Federation Points. It is a short, fight-only mission with a solid speed-up payout.
Final Straw objectives
There are four objectives, all in the same system, and no choice split:
- Take a defensive position in Denobula Triaxa. Location: Denobula Triaxa.
- Defeat the Suliban Interceptor. Location: Denobula Triaxa. Enemy strength is roughly 431,670.
- Defeat the lead Suliban Battleship. Location: Denobula Triaxa. Enemy strength is roughly 647,357.
- Defeat Sovren. Location: Denobula Triaxa. Enemy strength is roughly 652,792.
After you take position, the mission is three fights back to back. Each one is stronger than the last, though the Battleship and Sovren are close in strength.
Where and what warp
You can accept Final Straw at warp 1. Denobula Triaxa needs warp 53, so that is the range to plan around. The game lists a recommended level of 1, but three fights between roughly 430,000 and 650,000 strength are the real test.
The game lists Federation Patrols, Federation Combat Ships and a Federation War Armada in Denobula Triaxa, at level 35 to 41. None of them are part of the mission.

Final Straw does not unlock a follow-up mission. The mission before it is Consequences, where you help build a suppressant for the Suliban Elite.

Tips
Repair between fights if you can. The Interceptor is the lightest target, but the Battleship and Sovren come straight after it and are both around 650,000 strength.
The ten 8 Hour Speed Ups are the most useful part of the reward. Together they cut 80 hours off a build or research timer.
The mission costs 63,000 Klingon Points, so skip it for now if you are building Klingon standing. Other missions are listed by level on the mission guide.
