Double Helix is a main storyline station mission in Star Trek Fleet Command. After the alien monolith investigation, Maia needs a stronger station to learn more from the monolith data, so the mission asks you to upgrade Operations to level 32. It needs only warp 1 to start and finish, and the game lists a recommended level of 1, so the upgrade is the only real requirement. The reward is 7,500,000 Parsteel, and finishing it unlocks Deeper.
Double Helix objectives
There is a single objective and no choice split:
- Upgrade Operations to Level 32.
No system is named and no hostile is listed. The mission clears when Operations reaches level 32.
Where and what warp
Warp 1 to start and warp 1 to complete, with no pickup system. The whole mission happens on your station.

Tips
The separate Upgrade Operations to Level 32 mission asks for the same upgrade and pays 4,000,000 Tritanium and two 1 Hour Repair Speed Ups, so check it as well when the building finishes.
Line up Defense Platforms C and D at level 31 early. They are easy to overlook until Operations 32 refuses to start. The rest of the main story is on the main storyline missions page.
