Xindi-Reptilian Warship

The Xindi-Reptilian Warship is a Xindi-Reptilian hostile that patrols the Delphic Expanse from level 40 to 62. It spawns as a Battleship, an Explorer, or an Interceptor depending on the system, and every version drops Xindi Scraps, the resource that feeds Xindi research and gear. To take one down, match the counter class to the hull you are attacking and bring a ship that can survive an enemy whose fire ignores your shields.

How to beat the Xindi-Reptilian Warship

Because this hostile shows up as three different hulls, the ship you bring depends on which version you target. Combat in STFC runs on a simple triangle: Interceptors beat Schlachtschiffe, Battleships beat Explorers, and Explorers beat Interceptors. Vermessungsschiffe sit outside that triangle and hold up poorly in a real fight. So bring an Interceptor against the Battleship spawn, a Battleship against the Explorer spawn, and an Explorer against the Interceptor spawn. Check the target’s hull before you lock on so you are not fighting uphill.

This warship also carries abilities that shape how you fight it. Its Blade’s Tip ability means that from the opening of combat, all of its damage ignores your shields, so shield mitigation will not save you. Favor hull tanking and a quick kill instead. Its Doomed Species ability cuts your critical hit damage by 500% for two rounds and can stack, so do not build the fight around landing crits. And its Xindi Weaponry fires a Particle Beam at the end of every round that deals lethal damage to your ship, which is why players unlock the Particle Beam Delay favor before taking these warships on.

Crew choice follows the usual hostile-grind principle: a captain who boosts weapon damage against hostiles, with Offiziere under him who add damage or mitigation. The strongest specific picks move with the meta, so check the current Officer Tier List for who to slot today.

Where to find the Xindi-Reptilian Warship

These warships cluster in the Delphic Expanse. The level 40 to 51 spawns stay in low-warp systems from warp 60 up to warp 210, so a mid-game ship can reach them. The jump comes at level 57, where the warp cost climbs to 500 and keeps rising to warp 1000 by level 62. Match your warp range to the level you want, then pick a system from the table below. Most levels sit in a single system, so if one is crowded you may need to hop to the next level band to find an open target.

Ebene Warp Systeme
40 60 Caelor, Rotanara, Voxis
42 100 Utelyion
44 145 Renghad
46 180 Valendel
48 190 Fairsingez
50 200 Nordus
51 210 Pherinides
53 230 Samhailan
55 240 Gunnar
57 500 Dulwei
59 520 Eviorea
60 800 Zelmis
61 900 Henzyyr
62 1000 Torgoth

Rewards and what it drops

Every Xindi-Reptilian Warship drops Xindi Scraps, no matter which hull or level you fight. The payout scales hard with level: a low-level kill drops only a few dozen scraps, while the level 62 targets can drop tens of thousands at a time. Ship XP climbs steeply too, from around 1,500 at level 40 to 17,600 at level 62, so a few high-level runs move your ship’s experience quickly.

Xindi-Reptilian Warship stats

Stats vary by hull variant and climb steeply with level, so treat these as anchor points rather than exact figures for every spawn. Total strength runs from about 13 million at level 40 to nearly 9 billion at level 62, so do not bring a ship rated for the low end into a high-level system.

Ebene Total strength Hull HP Shield HP Angriff Verteidigung Ship XP
40 13,154,607 4,440,921 2,960,614 8,865,689 588,150 1,502
53 235,505,539 131,741,790 87,827,860 117,941,244 7,779,470 5,123
62 8,974,123,261 4,151,039,674 2,767,359,783 5,247,306,588 267,616,945 17,600

Xindi-Reptilian Warship firing pattern

Its weapons split into a single Energy shot and a five-gun Kinetic battery, both firing every round. The lone Energy shot is a fixed 100,000 per hit, while each of the five Kinetic guns can land anywhere from about 114,000 to 746,000, so the swing in incoming damage comes almost entirely from that battery. Plan your repairs and mitigation around a steady stream of hits rather than one big opening strike.

Weapon type Count Damage per shot Fires Crit
Energie 1 100,000 Every round 1% (1.5x)
Kinetic 5 114,345–745,730 Every round 1% (1.5x)

The Xindi-Reptilians in Star Trek

The Xindi come from Star Trek: Unternehmen, a group of species native to the Delphic Expanse. Five races survived the loss of their homeworld, among them the Xindi-Reptilians, a cold and militaristic people who trusted force over talk. When a probe warned the Xindi that humanity would one day wipe them out, the Reptilians pushed hardest to build a weapon and strike Earth first, which drove much of the show’s third season. Their aggression and deep distrust of the other Xindi races made them the faction most willing to gamble everything on a first strike.

Is the Xindi-Reptilian Warship worth grinding?

If you are working the Xindi research and equipment tree, yes. Xindi Scraps only come from these Delphic Expanse targets, and the high-level spawns hand out strong ship XP alongside them. Just come prepared: unlock the favor that delays their lethal Particle Beam, lean on hull over shields, and match your ship to the hull you are hitting so each fight ends fast.
