The Xindi-Aquatic Cruiser is a Xindi-Aquatic hostile that spawns as an Interceptor-class ship across levels 40 to 62. You’ll find it in Xindi space, from Demetrium at the low end up to Yoton near the top, and it drops Tech Modules and Xindi Scraps. Because it flies as an Interceptor, bring an Explorer to counter it, and go in expecting a hard fight: its abilities ignore your shields completely.
How to beat the Xindi-Aquatic Cruiser
This hostile only appears as an Interceptor, so the counter is simple: bring an Explorer, since Explorers beat Interceptors. There is nothing to swap between levels, one ship class handles every spawn from 40 to 62. The Explorer’s damage bonus against Interceptors shortens the fight, which matters a lot here because the Cruiser gets stronger the longer you let it live. Pair the ship with a captain that boosts weapon damage against hostiles and officers that add flat damage or hull mitigation rather than shield mitigation, since shields do little in this matchup. Crews shift with the meta, so check the Officer Tier List for current picks before you commit a build.
The Cruiser carries two always-active abilities that shape the fight. Strength of the Ibix gives it 10 shots per weapon, and all of its damage ignores your shields, so shield mitigation will not protect you here. Its second ability set covers Be Like Water, which cuts your critical hit damage by 2500% for two rounds, and Xindi Might, which fires nine shots from a super weapon at the end of every round that deals lethal damage to your ship. The practical read: lean on raw hull health and a fast kill rather than shield tanking or crit-focused officers, because this ship strips both of those tools away.
Where to find the Xindi-Aquatic Cruiser
The Cruiser tracks with your level as you push deeper into Xindi space. Early spawns sit in low-warp systems like Demetrium and Estellion around level 40, and the warp requirement climbs steeply as the levels rise, reaching warp 1000 for the level 62 spawn at Yoton. Each level tends to sit in its own system, so once you know the level you want to farm you can park a ship there and repeat. Match your warp range to that level before you set out, since the jump from the mid-40s to the high-50s alone more than doubles the warp you need.
| Ebene | Warp | Systeme |
|---|---|---|
| 40 | 70 | Demetrium, Estellion |
| 42 | 110 | Juuska |
| 44 | 150 | Faden |
| 46 | 190 | Dahkso |
| 48 | 200 | Tamhluch |
| 50 | 210 | Paynax |
| 51 | 220 | Emissius |
| 53 | 240 | Anorlo |
| 55 | 250 | Taskeh |
| 57 | 525 | Meedra |
| 59 | 550 | Tebith |
| 60 | 830 | Mobhi |
| 61 | 950 | Glensha |
| 62 | 1000 | Yoton |
Rewards and what it drops
The Cruiser drops two Xindi-faction resources. Ship XP also scales with level, climbing from about 1,500 per kill at level 40 to roughly 19,400 at the top of the range, so higher spawns pay out more for the same fight if you can survive them.
| Ablegen | What it is |
|---|---|
| Tech Module | An upgrade component used across ship and gear progression. |
| Xindi Scraps | A Xindi-faction material you refine for Xindi rewards. |
Xindi-Aquatic Cruiser stats
Stats climb steeply with level, so a level 62 Cruiser is a completely different threat from a level 40 one.
| Ebene | Total strength | Hull HP | Shield HP | Angriff | Verteidigung | Ship XP |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 40 | 360,980,869,572 | 184,763,373,775 | 123,175,582,517 | 207,010,809,411 | 582,015 | 1,502 |

Xindi-Aquatic Cruiser firing pattern
The Cruiser mixes Energy and Kinetic weapons. Two Energy weapons and three Kinetic weapons fire every round for steady pressure, while a single heavy Energy weapon holds off until round 100, when it lands a guaranteed critical at ten times damage. Since its regular fire never stops and bypasses shields, time your repairs and mitigation around surviving the sustained rounds rather than any one big hit.
| Weapon type | Count | Damage per shot | Fires | Crit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Energie | 2 | 124,001–20,000,000,000 | Every round | 10% (1.5x) |
| Energie | 1 | 1,033,340–1,123,196 | Every 100 rounds | 100% (10x) |
| Kinetic | 3 | 165,334–314,495 | Every round | 1% (1.5x) |
The Xindi-Aquatic in Star Trek
The Xindi-Aquatic are one of the surviving Xindi species from the Delphic Expanse, first seen in Star Trek: Enterprise. Unlike their Reptilian and Insectoid cousins, the Aquatics are enormous, slow-moving aquatic creatures who deliberate at length before acting, which made them the most cautious voice on the Xindi Council. They live and travel inside vast water-filled vessels, and their warships ranked among the largest and most powerful in the Xindi fleet. Their measured nature eventually helped turn the Council away from destroying Earth, making them quiet allies late in the Xindi arc.
Is the Xindi-Aquatic Cruiser worth grinding?
It’s a solid target if you need Tech Modules or Xindi Scraps and want ship XP on the side, and the higher spawns hand out more XP per kill. The catch is that shield-ignoring damage and a lethal super weapon make it punishing if you go in underprepared, so it rewards a strong hull-tank Explorer over a shield build. If your Explorer can absorb the sustained fire and burst it down before the round-100 heavy hit lands, it turns into a reliable resource loop. Match your warp to the level you want, bring the counter class, and it becomes a steady farm rather than a fight you barely survive.
