Desperate Measures is a Federation story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where the Andorians launch an all-out attack on the Suliban. You travel to Suliban-occupied Galorndon Core and destroy six Suliban Cabal ships there. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 24 to complete. The reward is 17,029,000 Parsteel, eighteen 3 Hour Speed Ups, 500 Föderation Credits and 100,000 Federation Points. For two objectives, that is a big payout.
Desperate Measures objectives
There are two objectives, both in the same system, and no choice split:
- Travel to the Suliban occupied Galorndon Core. Location: Galorndon Core.
- Destroy 6 Suliban Cabal ships in Galorndon Core. Location: Galorndon Core.
The six kills have to be Suliban Cabal ships and have to happen in Galorndon Core. There is no named boss and no return trip.
Wo und welcher Warp
You can accept Desperate Measures at warp 1, and warp 24 is enough to reach Galorndon Core. The game lists a recommended level of 1. What actually matters is whether your ship can beat Suliban Cabal ships six times.
The game lists one Suliban Cabal among the regular spawns in Galorndon Core, alongside Romulanisch Traders, Romulan Patrols and Romulan Trained Fighters at level 27 to 33. Only Suliban Cabal ships count toward the objective, so leave the Romulanische Schiffe alone.

Desperate Measures and Ushaan
The mission before it is Ushaan, where General Ontella plans a ritual fight to the death with the Suliban leader Sovren to end the open war between the two races. Desperate Measures is what follows when the Andorians go on the attack.

Both pay the same Federation Credits and Federation Points. Desperate Measures needs less warp and swaps Ushaan’s recruit tokens for Parsteel and speed ups.
Tips
The eighteen 3 Hour Speed Ups are worth 54 hours of build or research time, and the Parsteel is a large boost for this warp range.
The Klingon Points loss is 140,400, a little more than the 136,800 Ushaan costs. If you ran Ushaan, you have already accepted that trade, and Desperate Measures adds much the same again.
Galorndon Core also appears in Für das Wohl der Allgemeinheit, where you help the Suliban Nomads open a dialogue with the Cabal. That mission takes the Romulan side, so weigh the reputation changes before running both. Other missions by level are on the Missionsleitfaden.
