Angel In Disguise is a neutral escort mission where you shepherd a Romulan fleet through hostile space, hopping from one rally point to the next until you take down the Vahklas. It opens early in the storyline, but the fighting is what gates it: you need ships that can beat level 40 hostiles. The payout is a big Tritanium haul, a stack of repair speedups, and a Warp Particle.
Angel In Disguise objectives
The mission runs as a fixed route of rally points with two combat stops along the way. Complete the objectives in order:
- Treffen mit dem Romulanisch fleet at Beta Niobe (system level 43, warp 80).
- Travel to the first rally point, Stradania (system level 42, warp 70).
- Travel to the second rally point, Nikola (system level 41, warp 56).
- Besiegen Sie 18 Feinde der Stufe 40 oder höher.
- Travel to the third rally point, Mina (system level 40, warp 56).
- Besiegen Sie die Vahklas at Mina, a Vulcan Explorer with roughly 1,950,000 strength.
- Travel to the final rally point, Vola (system level 41, warp 70).
Only two of these steps are fights. Everything else is travel between neutral systems, so most of your time here is warp time rather than combat. The Vahklas is the set-piece: you destroy this Vulcan Explorer at Mina before the run to the final rally point.
Wo und welcher Warp
Angel In Disguise starts one warp from your base, and the farthest it sends you is warp 80 to reach Beta Niobe, the opening rally point. From there the route steps back through Stradania, Nikola, Mina, and Vola, none of them farther than warp 70. Because the systems sit at descending warp distances, you can plan one outbound push: jump to Beta Niobe first, then work inward toward Mina and Vola. The opening jump is the longest in the mission, so confirm your warp range covers 80 before you set out.
The mission unlocks at a low level as a continuation of the neutral storyline, so availability is not the problem. The real requirement is a fleet strong enough to clear level 40 hostiles and a Vulcan Explorer close to two million in strength before you commit.
Angel In Disguise rewards
Finishing the mission pays out:
- 9,450,000 Tritanium
- 24 x 1 Stunde Reparaturbeschleunigung
- 1 Warp Particle
Completing Angel In Disguise continues the neutral storyline and opens the next mission, Due Process. It follows on from The Tables Turn.
Tips
The combat is the part to prepare for. Eighteen kills against level 40 or higher hostiles, plus the Vahklas near two million strength, mean you want a crew and hull tuned for those targets before you start rather than mid-run.
The 18 hostile kills do not have to happen along the rally route. You can clear them at any level 40+ hostiles you already have on farm, so knock them out where your ships are sitting and save the travel time.
That Tritanium reward is large. If your warehouse is near its cap, spend down first so none of the 9,450,000 overflows and goes to waste when you claim it.
The 24 one-hour repair speedups suit a combat mission like this one. If the Vahklas or the level 40 hostiles chew through your hull, spend a few to get back into the fight instead of waiting out full repair timers.
