They Went That Way! is a Star Trek Fleet Befehl mission where you distract Starfleet so the USS Discovery has a chance to escape. It is recommended for level 41, starts at warp 1 and needs warp 53 to complete. After investigating a warp signature in Tiwoqua, you decide who destroyed the USS Fairbanks, and that choice sends you to a different system and a different fight. One path pays 28,878,000 Parsteel; the other pays 800 Ultra Recruit Tokens and 21,658,000 Parsteel.

The mission opens with one shared step and then asks a question: who destroyed the USS Fairbanks?

Romulan path
- Begleiten Sie die Enterprise to Ferraria. Location: Ferraria.

- Escort the Enterprise to Yoruba. Location: Yoruba.
- Defeat Baalik. Location: Yoruba. Enemy strength is about 3,709,402.
- Kehren Sie zu Ihrer Station zurück.
Rewards for Path 2: 21,658,000 Parsteel, 800 Ultra Recruit Tokens, 2 1 Day Peace Shields and 12 30 Minute Speed Ups.
Both paths have the same shape: escort the Enterprise, fight one ship and go home. The system, the enemy and the rewards are what change.
Wo und welcher Warp
You can accept They Went That Way! at warp 1, and it needs warp 53 to finish. Tiwoqua is the first stop on both paths. The Romulan path then goes to Ferraria, and Path 2 goes to Yoruba.
The recommended level is 41. The fight is the real check: about 3.0 million strength for the Romulan Augur or about 3.7 million for Baalik.

Welchen Weg du wählen solltest
The Romulan path is the easier fight and the bigger Parsteel payout. It pays 7,220,000 more Parsteel than Path 2 and adds 75 refined ore, and the Augur is about 700,000 strength weaker than Baalik.
Path 2 is the recruiting path. It pays four times as many Ultra Recruit Tokens, 800 against 200, and adds two 1 Day Peace Shields and six hours of speed ups. The trade is a harder fight at about 3.7 million strength and less Parsteel.
If you are short on Parsteel for a building upgrade, take the Romulan path. If you are collecting Offiziere through recruitment, Path 2 is the better return.
Tips
Plan for warp 53. Tiwoqua is the first stop, and the second system depends on your choice, so check that your ship can reach both Ferraria and Yoruba before you commit.
Bring a combat ship with some margin over the enemy on your chosen path. Each path has only one fight, so you can go in fully repaired.
The two 1 Day Peace Shields on Path 2 are worth saving for a day when you know you will be away from the game.
