The Separatists missions are the Star Trek Fleet Command storyline about the Klingon Separatists, the rebels trying to overthrow the Klingon High Council and spreading chaos across the Beta Quadrant. There are 17 missions, none with a recommended level, and almost all need warp 17 or 18 to complete, with one at warp 13 and one at warp 20. The headline rewards are officer shards for Chang, Vemet or Spock, Koth, Javaid and Hendorff, along with recruit tokens, faction credits and reputation.
How the Separatists missions work
Every mission here is a single mission; there are no multi-part chains. The story opens with Die klingonischen Separatisten, which you can pick up in Ajilon, Narendra or Qualor. After a fight with a Separatist ship in Angosia you choose how to handle the situation, and each of the three paths pays 4 shards of a different officer, so pick the path by the officer you want.
From there the main line runs through Der Kampf um Narendra, Faires Spiel und Unbeteiligte, dann Wir stecken da gemeinsam drin, where you contact the Separatist leader Wral’Vor, and on to A Place Called Home. Alongside it, three short lines of three missions each follow one faction:
- Klingon: Infiltration von Haus Antaak, Perimeter-Gitter, dann A Crime By Any Other Means
- Romulan: Mühelose, Ein sanfter Schubs in die richtige Richtung, dann Zu erfolgreich
- Federation: Invasion, Plan B, dann Verzweifelte Zeiten
Offene Rebellion, a Federation mission to bring Captain Raak back to face justice, and In Bewegung, the one mission that needs warp 20, stand on their own.
The faction missions pay reputation with the side you help and take a smaller amount from one or both of the others. Fair Game is the exception, with 1,600 points for each of the Federation, the Klingons and the Romulans. The fights stay modest. Most named targets fall between about 44,000 and 101,520 strength, the top end being the Separatist flagship in A Crime By Any Other Means and the House Antaak Warship in Fair Game. Several missions also ask for a payment, such as 10,000 Dilithium in Infiltration of House Antaak and a 50,000 Tritanium donation in Desperate Times.
Separatists mission rewards worth chasing
Six officers have shards in this storyline. The Klingon Separatists pays 4 shards of Chang, Vemet or Spock depending on your path, Effortless pays 5 Javaid shards, Plan B pays 5 Hendorff shards along with 1.1 million Parsteel, and A Crime By Any Other Means pays 3 Koth shards.
For recruit tokens, A Place Called Home lists 500 Klingon Recruit Tokens and 500 Romulan Recruit Tokens among its rewards, Too Successful pays 200 Ultra Recruit Tokens if you rescue the Major, and Open Rebellion pays 150 Premium Recruit Tokens. We’re In This Together gives 40 each of 3★ Interceptor, Explorer and Battleship Parts, and Invasion adds 125 3★ Explorer Parts. For resources, Infiltration of House Antaak pays 800,000 Parsteel, In Motion pays 600,000 Parsteel and 80,000 Tritanium, and Bystanders and Desperate Times pay out in 8 Hour and 3 Hour Speed Ups.
