Black Market Blood is a level 8 mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you go after the Takret Militia in a contested system and then help the Obali. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 8 to complete. After clearing 7 hostiles you choose between the Nausicaan Warlords and the Orion Syndicate. Both paths pay Parsteel and 1★ ship parts, and finishing unlocks Puppeteer. It is a good early mission for parts.
Black Market Blood objectives
The first three steps are the same for everyone:
- Find the Hostile forces. Location: Grenfil.
- Destroy 7 Hostiles of Level 8 or higher.
- Help the Obali with their problem.
The opening steps pay 1,500 Parsteel, 5 1★ Battleship Parts and 5 1★ Survey Parts. Then the mission splits.
Speak with the Nausicaans
- Visit the Warlords on Nausicaa Prime. Location: Nausicaa.
- Defeat Warlord Grull’s champion. Location: Nausicaa (enemy strength about 1,870).
This path adds 6,000 Parsteel and 20 1★ Battleship Parts.
Speak with the Orions
This path adds 7,000 Parsteel and 20 1★ Survey Parts.
Wo und welcher Warp
You can accept it at warp 1. Warp 8 is needed to complete it, which covers Grenfil and either Nausicaa or Orion.
The recommended level is 8, and the hostiles you count must be level 8 or higher.
Grenfil is the first stop for everyone. After the choice, the Nausicaan path sends you to Nausicaa and the Orion path to Orion, so you only visit one of the two. Both sit within the warp 8 finish.

Tips
Pick the path by the parts you need. The Nausicaan path is weighted toward Battleship Parts and ends in a fight; the Orion path is weighted toward Survey Parts and costs only 100 Tritanium, with no fight at all.
Clear the 7 hostiles around Grenfil while you are there for the first objective, so you do not have to travel twice.
The story line calls the enemy the Takret Militia, and the 7 hostiles you destroy are that force. Any hostile of level 8 or higher counts, so if Grenfil runs dry you can finish the count elsewhere.
Warlord Grull’s champion is a small fight at about 1,870 strength, well within reach of a level 8 ship that has handled the hostiles.
