Protocol Origin: Kirk is a five-part mission chain in which Trelane’s antics have once again changed the fate of the Federation. You investigate a temporal disruption, defend Der Weltraum Station K-7 from the Gorn, fetch a Tribble from its homeworld, put the Tribbles to use against a cloaked Klingon ship and finally restore the Klingonen‘ view of James T. Kirk so the timeline holds. Every part is recommended for level 20. Parts 1 to 4 need warp 15 to complete and Part 5 is listed at warp 1. The chain pays 41,000 Parsteel, 27,000 Tritanium, 20,000 Officer XP, 7,500 Ship XP, 150 Ultra Recruit Token and Kirk’s Spectacles. It is a quick, low-warp chain.

Protocol Origin: Kirk Part 1
Trelane has been meddling again. A temporal disruption in Cita Laga draws a Klingon ship, and after defending yourself you head for Deep Space Station K-7.
- Investigate the temporal disruption in Cita Laga.
- Defend yourself against the Klingon ship in Cita Laga (enemy strength ~18,405).
- Travel to Deep Space Station K-7, in Donatu.
Warp to complete: 15. Rewards: 41,000 Parsteel, 20,000 Officer XP and 4 15 Minute Repair Speed Up.
Protocol Origin: Kirk Part 2
At K-7, the trouble is Gorn rather than Tribbles. Two Gorn ships attack in Donatu, and once they are gone you check on the Unternehmen.
- Fend off the Gorn Destroyer in Donatu (enemy strength ~30,910).
- Destroy the second Gorn ship in Donatu (enemy strength ~30,910).
- Check on the Enterprise in Donatu.
Warp to complete: 15. Rewards: 9,000 Tritanium, 1 1 Day Speed Up and 7,500 Ship XP.
Protocol Origin: Kirk Part 3
You visit Tribble Prime. A Klingon blockade guards the Tribble homeworld in Iota Geminorum, and you break through it to beam a Tribble up from the surface.
- Locate the Tribble homeworld, in Iota Geminorum.
- Disable the Klingon blockade in Iota Geminorum (enemy strength ~17,801).
- Transport a Tribble from the surface, in Iota Geminorum.
Warp to complete: 15. Rewards: 1,200 Dilithium, 1,000 2★ Roherz and 60 15 Minute Assignment Speed Up.
Protocol Origin: Kirk Part 4
Now the Tribbles get put to work. You bring them to K-7, help with repairs, find a cloaked Klingon ship and plant some Tribbles on the Enterprise.
- Take the Tribbles to Deep Space Station K-7, in Donatu.
- Help with the repairs for 500 Tritanium.
- Find the cloaked Klingon ship in Donatu.
- Plant some Tribbles on the Enterprise, in Donatu.

Protocol Origin: Kirk Part 5
The last step is to restore the Klingon perception of James T. Kirk and consolidate the timeline. You defeat the Klingon General in Donatu and let Trelane check that everything is back in place.

- Have Trelane check on the timeline.
Warp to complete: 1. Rewards: 1,300 Dilithium, 1,100 2★ Raw Kristall and 1 Kirk’s Spectacles.
Tips for completing Protocol Origin: Kirk
The Gorn in Part 2 are the chain’s real test. Both Gorn ships sit at about 30,900 strength, well above the Klingon fights in Parts 1, 3 and 5 at 17,800 to 18,400, and they come back to back. Repair between them if the Destroyer leaves you damaged.
The only resource cost is 500 Tritanium for repairs in Part 4. The game lists Part 5 at warp 1 to complete even though its fight is in Donatu, which Parts 1, 2 and 4 needed warp 15 to reach, so keep that range available.
Most of the chain happens at Deep Space Station K-7 in Donatu, with side trips to Cita Laga and Iota Geminorum.
Are the Protocol Origin: Kirk rewards worth it?
For a level 20 player, yes. It is quick, the only cost is 500 Tritanium, and it pays 41,000 Parsteel, 27,000 Tritanium, 20,000 Officer XP, 7,500 Ship XP, 5,000 2★ raw Ressourcen and 150 Ultra Recruit Token.
