Fight-Or-Flight is a two-part mission chain in which you help protect the good name of Bold Boimler as he takes part in the Kromsapiod Starving Games festival on K’ranch’s home planet. The festival turns out to be something else entirely, and after a Hirogen ambush you work out what it really means and get Boimler, with his takeout, back to the Cerritos. Both parts are recommended for level 25, with warp 25 to complete Part 1 and warp 18 for Part 2. The chain pays 2 Brad Boimler shards, 1 D’Vana Tendi shard, 2 Badgey shards, 45 10K Dilithium Token and 34,000 Officer XP. For a short chain, it is generous with Lower Decks shards.

Fight-Or-Flight Part 1
Boimler has a reputation to keep up at the Starving Games festival. You go with him to K’ranch’s home planet in Stiirat, and much of the part is spent hiding: first in Alhazar, where an Orion whistleblower needs intercepting, then more carefully in System J-25.
- Accompany Boimler to K’ranch’s home planet, in Stiirat.
- Hide, in Alhazar.

- Hide, but do it better this time, in System J-25.

Fight-Or-Flight Part 2
A Hirogen ambush in System J-25 forces a fight and an escape. Once you are clear, you check on K’ranch and figure out what the festival is really about, then deliver Boimler and his takeout to the Cerritos in Gemet.
- Defeat the Hirogen Hunter in System J-25 (enemy strength ~55,452).
- Escape the ambush in System J-25 (enemy strength ~55,452).
- Kehren Sie zu Ihrer Station zurück.
- Check how K’ranch is doing, in Stiirat.
- Bring Boimler and his takeout back to the Cerritos, in Gemet.
Warp to complete: 18. Rewards: 37,000 Tritanium, 60 3★ Explorer Parts, 500 Premium Recruit Token, 1 Brad Boimler shard and 2 Badgey shards.
Tips for completing Fight-Or-Flight
Part 1 is the longer trip at warp 25, and it holds the 10 hostiles of level 25 or higher. The Orion whistleblower is the only named fight in that part, at about 45,000 strength.
Part 2 opens with two fights back to back in System J-25, both listed at about 55,500 strength. That is the hardest stretch of the chain, so go in fully repaired and be ready to repair again between the Hirogen Hunter and the escape.
There are no donations or resource costs, which makes this one of the cheaper ways to pick up Lower Decks shards at level 25.
Are the Fight-Or-Flight rewards worth it?
Yes, especially if you use Lower Decks Offiziere. Two parts give 2 Brad Boimler shards, 1 D’Vana Tendi shard and 2 Abzeichen shards, and the 45 10K Dilithium Token and 34,000 Officer XP are solid extras.
