The Art of Living is a two-part mission chain that starts when a mysterious building appears on your station. A summons leads to the Court of Q, and the job that follows is a heist: you slip into Romulanisch space and steal a painting for Q from the Praetor’s private gallery. Both parts are recommended for level 19, with warp 15 to complete Part 1 and warp 13 for Part 2. The chain pays 42,000 Officer XP, 31,000 Parsteel, 12,000 Tritanium and 2,400 Dilithium. It is short, with a single named fight.

Tips for completing The Art of Living
Part 2 asks for 10 hostiles of level 20 or higher, one level above the chain’s recommended level of 19. Those are the main source of risk here, so if level 20 hostiles are a stretch for your ship, clear them after a level-up or with your strongest combat ship.
The Praetor’s ship is the only named fight, listed at about 4,930 strength. There are no donations or resource costs.
Part 1 is the longer trip at warp 15, and it is mostly travel: three steps with no system listed, then Sorenle and Davidul. Part 2 stays in Davidul apart from the trip home.
Are The Art of Living rewards worth it?
Die Ressourcen are small, but the chain is quick and costs nothing, and 42,000 Officer XP is a useful amount at level 19. The story centers on the Court of Q, so it is worth running if you are curious about that building. The Dilithium and Tritanium are small top-ups. For other missions around this level, see the STFC mission guide.
